Thanks, Laureen, I know that's alot of weight to lose in just 4 weeks.  I'm grateful for each and every pound.  I have to remember that I'm down 70 pounds since I started last June, too.  I did see my p/c physician last week to check on the b/p.  At that time it was a good b/p so he didn't want to change any medicines.  We'll see what today's visit in the surgeon's office says.

Enjoy your weekend!

Kathi, I think that 21 pounds in 4 weeks is totally amazing. I would double check witht the doctor about that b/p. I take several b/p meds for my heart problem. I was having problems with the b/p going down really low too. The heart doctors nurse took me off one of them and the b/p is fine now. I was suppose to call her about it and I never did but I didn't start taking it again.

HI Brenda, Thanks for the support!  I will definitely follow up on the b/p problem as that's really important.  Your weight loss is truly amazing.  I can't wait to look back upon this time as one step to my goal.  I'm truly grateful for each and every pound that disappears... Have a marvelous July 4th! Kathi

Another thought from me........Please post something even if you think that there is nothing to share. We just like knowing that you are alright. We worry when our sisters and brothers are mia. Sometimes too when you least expect it and think you have nothing to share you say something that is needed to be heard by someone. You always have something to share. Love and hugs to you!

Kathi: Congrats on the weight loss ... you are doing very well. I agree with Laureen; your low b/p may be because of b/p meds; have your doc take a look at taking you off them. I was off all b/p meds after three weeks of surgery. Well, actually, cut back to 1/2 of tenormin and would have been off all meds except I exploded at the office staff over an insurance billing problem (still makes my blood boil, they were so stupid!) ... shot my b/p up to high again right there in the office ... our doctors are great, but the office staff leaves a lot to be desired; they just don't listen very well. Anyway, you may be ready to get off those meds, which is a good thing. At four weeks off surgery, I went back to work full time and I'll admit, I was pretty exhausted too. I took more naps than usual (I was also getting up at 4 a.m. ... yuck!)  So exhaustion is natural; your body has to get used to your routine again. I also could eat just about anything too, and still can. So I have to be a lot more disciplined. Sometimes I am, sometimes I'm not, even four years out. Ya know, I thought I would be throwing up foods ... I guess I'm glad I'm not (I did it once with a pizza at my mom's (ate too much and too fast), but then again, it makes me be more responsible, and I wasn't expecting that to happen.

Good Morning Sis and OFF Family, Unless I'm up after mid-night, which is very rare during the workweek, I can't post any time before I get to work because while I am up at 4:30 a.m., I have no time to get on the computer, it's rush around, get out the door to make my train on time, so that I can make it to work by 8 a.m.; on the weekends, it's a better chance of me being up late or early, as even on the weekends I am generally up early, though not as early as work days, so whoever makes it here first gets to do the post, you've been here, so post away ;)

I am sitting at my work station, it will be sooooo quiet here today, with lots of people not even in, just the kind of day to come to work, though my department has been quiet for the last year, in large part due to the economy, so here I sit, whiling away the day! Tomorrow is 4th of July and the day I've been training for since on of my PA board posters challenged us to do the 5k with him back in January or so. . . I almost was going to cancel as I got locked out of pre-registration due to a computer glitch, well after sending the instigator of this 5k an e-mail, he reassured me that I should just show up and that was all I needed to know, so tomorrow I will do my first "official" 5k, I will be among the walkers and as I said I have been training on the treadmill since February, more recently doing 2 or 3 5k's a week outdoors, while my time will not be in the Guiness Book, I am committed to having fun and completing the course! What a long way I've come thanks to WLS! After the race I will be heading back home where I will get on the road to Ocean City, NJ to meet up with my friends for a July 4th BBQ and fireworks display. So to all of you, I wish you the very best 4th of July, remember that this is a celebration of our country and remember all those wonderful men and women who are making sacarafices for our freedom, both here and abroad and the families who mourn those that have been lost. . . Be safe! Hugs, prayers and positive thoughts, Laureen  P.S.  I have not been posting as much, just not much to talk about and I don't want to bore people with the non-happenings in my life, but then I feel disconnected, so I guess I'll just make it a habit to post a good morning wish to you all! P.P.S.  As for reading the posts, I tend to come back several times throughout the day to see what is going on, but some days I get busy with other things and miss a lot and lately my weekends are packed full with summer fun, so I'm certainly not on much then. . . but try to catch up on Monday's. . .  I love all you folks, for your support and friendship. . .  hugs. ..L
