TWO WOW Moments!!!!

Hi all, I just wanted to share. 1. Went and had my gallbladder ultra sound yesterday. The person doing it said she didn't see any problems with it but a doc would look closer and  would know in a couple of days...that's not the wow part yet... She also said "Wow, your liver is completely different than the last time we looked at it!" I asked her what she meant and she said before she saw me she looked at the last picture taken, prob about 1-2 years ago ( I had been diagnosed with a "Fatty Liver" no, duh. ) and now my liver looked "completely the opposite!" She said when it is fatty it shows up bright and white, which she said mine did last time and now it is "completely dark" no fat! I was very happy as my doc had been concerned that I had done enough damage to it with my eating that it may have some permanent damage...but the gal said it looked really good! YAY for my liver! 2. Yesterday also, at a Care Plan Conference for one of my patients, (I am the social worker there) A family member was talking about her mom only wanting male aids to help transfer her because she was afraid of the "girls" not being able to  do it. She then pointed at me and said, "Someone petite and tiny like you, would really make her nervous if they were trying to help her." I didn't really get she was talking to me ( I never see myself as a girl either) but then realized I was the "tiny petite one" as I finally noticed she was pointing and looking at me! I know I have lost weight but still don't see myself as "tiny and petite." Weird....weird but really cool!!!!! Glad I have all you to tell! You are the only ones *****ally get it! Cheryl

Thanks, Annette, I am very pleased about my guts. I had been a bit worried before and actually more than worried when I was told I had a "fatty liver" I had thought having a "fatty" body was bad enough, but now my inside parts were fat too! So...yep, good news. C

Cheryl, How totally wonderful about your liver and gallbladder, enjoy your WOWs, they are well deserved and I imagine you are a "little" girl now ;) Hugs, Laureen

Thanks, Laureen, It's weird how sometimes I really can't believe I am over the big 5 0. I remember being 18 just a couple of years ago! Can remember being a real little girl not that many years ago too! C

Thanks, Connie. I think the gallbladder is fine. It is hard to see myself like that. I never realized I was short until well into my adult years when someone said they could see my part in my hair. I just never realized it. Being short really adds to the size thing. Duh, boy I am so profound tonight. Hope you are feeling better. C
