I have been eating a lot better, I hope you get back to better eating soon. You must be stressed. I hope your family is doing well.
Yesterday
B: protein drink with milk
L: My supper high protein yogurt and pumpkin seeds
D: Rasberries, almonds and lime aide with my miralax.
I got 71 gms protein and 813 calories. That is a lot better than 600 cals and 60 gms protein.
Hugs, Diana
Hi OFF's
I haven't and won't be on the boards as much as before because my whole office group got yelled at for internet use on company time, ergo, not getting our work done, blah blah blah, so I have to walk the straight and narrow pretty much. When I get home it's so hectic w/housework, and I'm tired and the dogs need me...sometimes I can't sit at the computer longer than it takes to do what's necessary, Other times I'm on longer, So I'll try to check in as much as possible. I'm just not a night owl as I have to get up at 5:30 for work.
SO>>>>>coming home from work just now, I pulled into a shopping center parking lot very near my home to go to Walgreens to pick up a prescription for my husband. Well, this girl was flying down the side of the parking lot, didn't even see me pull in (she was going straight because the parking lot extends past the entrance) I saw her and knew she was gonna hit me so I tried to speed up so she'd miss me but nope, nailed in the back quarter panel on the drivers side. i called the police because you need that report for the insurance. There's a pretty hefty scrape there, and she hit me HARD, My car went swerving and almost fishtailed, I don't think she even was paying attention or slowed down.
She was a youngish young lady with a little boy in the back, I felt really bad esp. because of the little boy, but it wasn't my fault and you gotta do what you gotta do...I'm not really sure if she got a ticket - I can't really tell from the police report. Her dad showed up just to make sure things were ok. I said, gee, I wish you'd hit the other side of the car, actually the passenger side already needed some repair work from my son mysteriously getting sideswiped at Woodfield at Christmas Time. <--- son
Sheesh. You never know. Now my back hurts, but it always hurts, so whatever.
Oh and a week ago my greyhound tore off one of his nails somehow, that was loads of fun. But never fear, he's fine and the nail will grow back.
That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.
Oh and last night I had a small pork chop that my DH grilled with a couple of baked fries, will have a leftover one tonite, today I had a ZONE blueberry protein bar, a soy protien shake (soy milk with soy protein powder) and an Active1 coffee drink. And water. And regular coffee. Where's the solids, you may ask? I know, I know, I try to walk at lunchtime for 30 minutes (that's all we get) and it is so much easier to have a nutritional drink instead of solid food. and I keep the protein bars on hand too. I usually try to do solid food for dinnertime too.
Cheers,
Mary

Thanks Linda! Like that blues song 'I've been down so long it looks like up to me".
I'm not even going to mention about my son getting overdraft charges on his account and he JUST moved out on his own last week. Those banks are tricky tricky with how they post stuff sometimes, just my own opinion....
But anyway, ya, it stinks not to have that little bit of OB time during the day. I'll try to sneak in now and then. And then they'll TELL the IT guy to block me, HAHAHA.
