What we are eating, and what's eating us!!!! Tuesday!
Good Morning Linda......
Another day in paradise....yeah right!!!
I am very emotional today...need to just take care of me.
B-yogurt w/kashi and string cheese
S-fresh pineapple
L-Chicken in mushroom sauce and peas
S-fruit
D-pork tenderloin and a small salad with veggies and cheese
S= SF pudding (dark chocolate raspberry)
I haven't been able to eat pork but love it. Everyone thinks I won't have problems with the tenderloin so here goes!! I am cooking it slowly in my crckpot. Hope it works!!
Honey I am glad you have managed an extra day off. Rest as much as you can. I wish I was there to spend "pool time" with you!!
Much love and oodles of hugs......Boo....to you!!
Hey my Boo! Olivia promised to take me to mailboxes etc so I can do some mailings!!
The pork sounds yum, well cooked, and very moist is the answer for sure!
I am so blessed, I will work 2 days and be off 3 more, then 4 and 3 off. I am giving myself pockets of reprieve...LOL.
I love you, dear Boobala!
Aw Connie, (((HUGS))), sorry you're going through so much.
The tenderloin should work well. Since surgery I've had trouble with pork, unless it's those tiny 1 - 1.5 pieces of vacuum packed, very, very expensive pieces of tenderloin. Every once in a while I need a pork fix, splurge and buy the tenderloins when they're buy one get one. Usually thery're nearly $10.00 a lb. George doesn't eat much pork, so one makes a few meals for me. Now if our older son drops by, he's known as the "King of Pork", he can polish off a whole one by himself. His motto, "There's never enough pork!" OK, rambling - sorry
Debbie....I hope I do enjoy the tenderloins. I bought them on sale. Buy one get one free plus I had a coupon for $1.50 off. The two together came to $6.49. I thought that was a good deal and time to give them a try. I live alone so I will get plenty of meals from each one.
I will let you know how it goes.
Hugs....connie d
Linda,
A well deserved time off and sleep in for you.
I'm having a whiney day so better keep this brief.
Not that kind either --->>>> Might do me good
B - cottage cheese, berries, Kashi
L - green salad & deli meat
D - chicken and broccoli
Snack - apples (if they aren't all mushy like the others I bought) and peanut butter
There you are, I was concerned when I didn't see your beautiful face this morning. Called off the mounties and posse! Lucky you getting a vacation day. I can't wait for my vacation on the 12th! Enjoy your day with Olivia. I so wish my daughter were closer. Soon, very soon, she'll be 3.5 hours away rather than 12 hours away. We might get to see her more than once or twice a year.
I saw the recipe for spinach/broccoli enchilads in "Cooking Light" magazine and of course couldn't stick to the recipe, had to alter it a bit. It did turn out pretty good.
Hey Linda, I hope you have a nice lunch with your daughter. PB- cuppa w/ protein. B-1/4 cup kashi & 2 tbls greek yogurt. L- Turkey rollup w/ Laughing Cow lite wedge & 3 grape tomatos. S- Protein Drink. D- Shrimp w/ ****tail sauce & green salad. S- 1/4 apple w/ peanut butter. I ordered this stuff called PB2. It's suppose to be powder dried peanut butter that you add water to and it's suppose to be like less than half the calories and half the fat. I figured I'd try it, since I love my peanut butter and apples. I'll let you know.
