Had my second psych visit today.....

Alice, I think it's better that you're dealing with this stuff now rather than later. Here on OH I've encountered so many people who are miserable even after losing a lot of weight and can't understand why the weight loss didn't solve all their problems.  Unfortunately, weight loss surgery fixes your stomach, not your head. I'll admit, my self-esteem is a lot better now that I'm thinner, but I don't think I would be where I am emotionally now if I hadn't gone through all that counseling. There are wonderful things in store for you in the future: a high-quality life filled with travel, activities, and adventures that you never thought possible before. Jean
