Hiya Paulette, congrats on the weight loss. You are brave to step outside of the box, to listen to your body. I average about 1200 cals. a day, with the steroids...1400. I make sure they are protein calories. I am 5 feet 9. We don't diet, so we eat well, your numbers sound average, and even if they did not,we would not say anything unless you asked..LOL. We respect each other, and we stay out of each others plates. Heck, Annette will turn into a darn werewolf!! ROFL!! You sound so happy, that is great! .. Bravo

Thanks Linda, you always make me feel good. Guess I'm still such a newbie...I'm still learning. you are all so inspiring to me. Btw my hubby has also lost as much as me since we are cooking and eating so different. He even ate a vegie burger last night...although he covered it in mustard, don't think he'll eat them again tho..I thought it was just fine. He has been very good about my trying mew foods and recipes on him to be more wl friendly.   Hugs, Paulette

************* WARNING ******************* Excessive whining ahead.... I have had the broth from some veggie soup, and then spent the next 20 minutes in the Little Sailors Room.... This must be Gods way of getting me back to eating the way I am supposed to.... showing me that I can live on almost zero food... I cannot even tell if I am hungry or not! I have to go back to work tomorrow... I don't know how I am going to handle that since I can't seem to get more than 5 feet from the bathroom... **************** Whining Off **************************

Good morning Linda!  It is finally a warm day in the Pacific Northwest!  It was hot yesterday and today.  Tomorrow it is supposed to cool off.  That's probably it until next year!  :)   I have been in Seattle at a symposium for the last few days and my eating has been nutso!  In the main lecture hall, I couldn't  take food or drink and by the end of the day I realized I hadn't peed all day!  I was dehydrated!  Eeeek! It's nice to be home in my own bed snuggling up to the honeybunny! Today's the day to get back on track! B: Cereal, milk and raspberries S: coffee yogurt L:  Taco soup S:  protein bar D: eggs and boca sausage S:  pudding

Werewolf  Linda, I don't bite too hard though.  Flirty 2  We just returned from a 50th wedding anniversary party. Good thing I ate in advance because there was not one item I could have eaten. Knowing the family I wasn't surprised and planned accordingly.  People get so concerned when I don't eat even after telling them I just ate. I can put the comments on "ignore" most days and just SMILE. Some  days and situations it ****** me off. The other day I had been outside with the 2 grands and came inside thirsty. I always take a drink for each of us but they prefer to drink mine. (My daughter frowns on us sharing germs. I'm SUCH a bad grandma that way) We were sitting down to eat and my daughter made a comment about drinking and eating at the same time.  Monster 2 Probably an innocent remark but it ruined my appetite completely.  Yeah, I really don't like people in my plate. Guess I bite harder than necessary.  Dog Munching You are right my Dear, I DO turn into a werewolf. Have a fantastic and peaceful week. Annette PS - my nickname is "Witch" which is the polite way of saying it without a capitol "B".

Linda, I did OK with food today until I brought my mother over to the house.  She was being kind of a brat (long story - see my OH blog for the gory details) and I was so stressed by the time we sat down to lunch, my band had tightened up and I got stuck after 2 tiny bites.  Same thing happened at dinner (my stoma was probably still irritated from the lunchtime episode).  So today I ate: B:  1 packet weight control oatmeal made w/ 2/3 c. skim milk, 1 tbl PB2, & 1/2 banana S:  1/2 c. white chocolate raspberry cottage cheese pudding L:  2 bites of turkey kielbasa S:  1/2 c. LF cottage cheese w/ berries & mango D:  2 bites Shelly's Turkey Slaw S:  1 Skinny Cow Dipper (if my stoma allows it) Jean
