By the way
I hit goal this week!!! Six months and one week after surgery. I feel great!
I know it disgusts you gals that us guys lose weight so much quicker, but we can't have babies, so you win.
The same week, my wife entered Onederland. She had stalled for one year at 221, then was taken off her anti-depressants and BOOM! She is feeling great and is a bundle of energy. She even runs and I mean that literally, runs with the grandkids.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
It does make it easier for both of us I think, being able to understand what the other is going through.
Mary (wife) had her surgery a year and a half before me. I tell everyone she is my guinea pig, I let her check stuff out first. She had dentures a year before I stepped in that pool too.
But still, we both eat less. I am more of a food Nazi to her than I probably should be. But, I must say, she was in a stall pattern for one year, after having lost 70+ lbs. When I had my surgery, with the extreme success I had, I think inspired her to work harder at it. Plus, the docs took her off all her anti-depressents. That made a world of difference.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
No! It isn't fair that you guys lose so much faster but such is life and we must accept it as it is. But I still don't have to like it. lol
Congratulations to both you and your wife. I just hit onederland on the 11th of this month and I know just how your wife feels. Your hitting goal is wonderful and I am so happy for you.
George, what great news about you and Mary! Yes, team work is great! That is wonderful about Mary being taken of the the meds I know they can block a lot of success. Support with this tool is very important as Annette will back me up on. Peopl that attend support group meetings, or have a support team (e.g., spouse, friends etc) do much better than those w/o. Congrats!
Congratulations on making goal and that is great news about your Mary!
Hugs, Laureen
