Surgery
Hi everybody,
I am really happy to say that I had by by-pass surgery on Monday and I am doing GREAT!
I'm 64 and can now look forward to some extra years.. healthier and happier. I have 5 little holes
in my stomach, four of which look like a smiley face; I wonder if that is doctor humor. Anyway,
something that helped me with nausea is Biobands...they go around you
wrist and sit on a accupressure point. They use them for sea sickness, pregnancy, and after
anesthesia. I think they really worked for me as I haven't had a moment of nausea. You can
find them through Google and I would suggest you get two and wear them on the same wrist.
I am hoping to get my husband to take a photo tomorrow. I still consider myself in the "before"
stage. Thanks for everyone's support. Mikelanne
Congratulations on your surgery....now on to a smooth and easy recovery. We've got a spot for you on the losers bench, all dusted off!!!

Done! Your Ticker:
Mikelanne, congratulations on the new life that you starting. It is a wonderful journey and one that you never get tired of. I am so glad that things went well for you and you can expect to be much healthier and happier.
I have never heard of the Biobands. I had a little patch behind my ear for nausea and they worked great. Each patch (about the size maybe half a dime) works for 3 days. I can't remember the name of them but they are great too.
I can't wait to see your pictures. You aren't in the before stage anymore, honey, and it won't be long before you see that too. Promise.
Welcome to the losers bench. We got just the right spot for you.
Welcome to the Losers Bench! Keep sipping, walking and sipping some more!
Hugs, Laureen
