What's New FRIDAY?
Good Morning Annette and OFF Family!
I enjoyed remembering all the many things your post brought to mind yesterday, as well as reading everyone elses. Thanks Big Sis!
In a very little while I will begin the busy ness of my day, which today includes bringing my construction plans to the township for permit approval, a 9 month post-op appointment, for which I got on my scale this morning and have gained 2 lbs of water weight, as I am retaining water from this hot, humid weather, thought that might not happen post-op and having lost so much weight, but oh well, it is what it is. . . meeting up with Sister Jan and Arlene from my PA board at Barix, Sister Jan has her 1 year post-op and Arlene, well she is just coming to meet us for lunch, we were going to hang by her pool, but because the weather is so brutal here, we will probably have lunch and then either go to the mall or on to our other things, which for me involves getting the mystery box to the post office and getting to my nail salon for my manicure/pedicure too!
Life is good and I am enjoying it, because it changes like the weather. . .
Have a wonderful day wherever and whatever you are doing.
Prayers, positive thoughts and hugs, Laureen

Good morning Laureen,
I like your phrase "the busy ness of my day". That sure fits many days for me too.
Fluid retention happens to me too. On those days I try to increase my water intake to get the pump primed and moving. Some days that works, other days it increases the swelling.
Have fun today. Your plans sound relaxing.
************ GOULD MOORNINNNNG FELLOW OFFers, *** Today I'm getting back in sync with my sewing group. Due to illness and a few other "things" I haven't been active. I miss the gals. So sew creative, very talented women (and men). I plan to babysit the grandson again for a while. I LOVE being with him, he is so full of curiosity and is such a good boy; not normal for my family LOL LOL ********** I walked twice yesterday. The weather was perfect, cool but not cold. I missed getting out and walking when it was so rainy. ***** I wish everyone the best the day has to offer. Prayers where prayers are needed and laughter where laughter is needed. And love.. which is needed everywhere... Millie
Good morning Annette and OFFers!
Again not much new. We started picking figs the last few days. Oh are they good - sweet and juicy! I pigged out and ate several last night and will probably pay for it later - tummy is rumbling! No set plans for the weekend, hoping to see a movie, clean out some clutter, and cook.
Have a great weekend!
Debbie
I laughed about your post re the fresh figs....I can only imagine how sweet and juicy they were....yumo!
One advantage to have a "few" too many, you will see
the results in a "good" way! LOL LOL
You are such a sweetie Debbie - wish I could give you a
big "heart to heart" hug. I envy your garden and all the fresh veggies....my one little 'mater plant has about six small green babies on it, but it will be August until they are ready to eat. My neighbor man keeps me in peppers, zucchini, and the like all summer long -- luv it.

Done! Your Ticker:
I'm glad you got some peonies -- don't they smell wonderful. Mine, unfortunately, didn't last long because of the rain, in fact I only got two bouquets this year. Last weekend I went out and cut all the dead blooms off. The bushes are still pretty and green, but no poseys.
How are you doing? I passed some of the slacks you sent (that were too big for me) on to our receptionist at the bank. She doesn't have much money and she really appreciated getting them.....she thanked me over and over. So thanks to you too, they will be used. I kept the jeans and capris and a couple of the lighter weight slacks.
The jeans fit now, but it's way too hot now to wear them.
Hope you have a good weekend.
Hugs,
Pat

Hi Annette and all,
I know I'm jumping on the wagon late about perfumes but I was wondering if anyone knows the name of a perfume Amway had out about 15 years ago. It was wonderful...everywhere and everyday I had someone commenting on how good I smelled, even a young teenager at Arby's! I know they discontinued it but I really want to remember the name. Anyone?
Going to go scrapbook tonight with my sister. Hope to have a weekend at home this time...just have to get groceries.
I have slept till 5:15 every night this week! I don't know why but I am so happy! That is about 6-6 1/2 hours and I usually have 4 at the most!
Beth called yesterday from an urgent care...seems she has pink eye. She told me last week there was a case up at camp and I just was waiting to hear when she would get it. She gets it very easily. Wonder how they are handling that up at camp so it doesn't spread to everyone.
So happy for you Connie! And for Nic and his family.
Well, up to walk on the treadmill and watch "The Wire" while I do so. Then get ready for work and hit the road.
Take Care all,
Cheryl
