what's new WEDNESDAY?

Hi Annette and friends: It's rainy, gray, I have a headache ... just another crappy day. Had to go for an ultrasound on my gallbladder, then get some blood redrawn for my B1 test ... the lab screwed it up Saturday ... but they're in the same building as the ultrasound so it was one trip. But still  had to get up earlier than I would have. And I couldn't drink or eat before I left, so off I went, sat there waiting with a dry mouth for a while until they came and got me. Anyway, got the tests done, had this gift card to go shopping at a local store. So I went there, got groceries, went to use the card and was told there was nothing on the card. So I had to leave without the groceries ... waste of a trip. And the headache just kept getting worse. Now I'm trying to get some caffeine in me to see if that will help the headache (since I haven't had my dose for the morning yet).  The one good thing that happened was when I got home and checked the mail there was something from the hospital's lab ... great, I thought, what do they want? Well, it was an apology for making me come back to redo that test ... and there was a $10 Meijer gift in it ... hope this one works! At least I had no bills in there today! Ah, anyway, my problems are minor in comparison to poor Connie and her grandson ... I hope all is well with his test; I'm sending positive vibes her  way. Same for Brenda so maybe she can get the job at the vet's office. After meeting you, Brenda, I know you would be perfect there ... you are so bubbly and you love animals ... it's the perfect match.  Landscapers are out today mowing and weed whacking, so I wouldn't have been able to sleep late anyway ... they're working even in the rain. HI Annnette and Everyone,    I'm back home from the surgery feeling very wiped out, sore throat from them putting so many tools down it and my pouch is tender - feels like I've been punched in the upper abdomen.     It was scheduled for 1 pm - didn't start till 5:30 , we finally left the hospital at 8:30, followed by a 2 hour drive home. SO I haven't had anything by mouth since Sunday night except flavored water ( nothing from 8am till 8 pm last night ) I tried to go to bed but had to get up and get into the recliner till morning.I dozed off and on but today feel like I've been drug through a knothole backwards.    While we had time to kill yesterday we looked over the calendar in regards to our fall trip.....we think we can shift it a bit so we can stop in Frankenmuth and see all who are there.... expecting to stay Friday and perhaps Saturday nights .( I tried to call you Margo but had to leave a voicemail message).   Well I'm going to go sip some more water and put my feet up....

as usual, my phone was turned off to bill collecytor calls--and so i missed you as well -boooo tears came to my eyes this morning on the drive to work, tho as i listened- i love you , joyce!!!!!!! we'll talk soon-glad you are home ok....hugs and prayers!

It's grey and rainy looking here in southwest Michigan today. Went to the pool for 1/2 hr. at 7 a.m. -- came home, showered, made my oatmeal, and ate breakfast with the ice on my knee.....it's actually feeling quite good now (oops hope that doesn't jinx it).

Off to work from 9 to 12.....lots of work to do, people are still re-financing to get the lower interest rates.

Checkbook statement came, so balanced that = love having my checkbook on the computer....makes it a breeze to reconcile it with the statement.

So much sadness on here today.....my heart aches for those who are sad, and facing many challenges. Good luck Brenda with that job - if it's to be, it will be.

Not much going on here, so will say adieu for now,

Hello Joyce..After you and John visited here I was wondering if the visit to the surgeon panned out for you.  I woke up today before Dr.s visit this AM and decided to check OFF  which I am sorry to say I have not done in a longggg time.  I was readying post rom Wed and saw this.  I am praying for your healing and for success!  God is good to answer your prayer.  Watch out John the woman will really want to travel now!  Miss you...BTW..Frank from church wound up having triple bypass and is now on the mend.  Still has to have coroited artery surgery soon. Talk later friend.....

Was that dawn breaking? I thought Gary dropped a dish! Hi to all my OFF family.  I just got home from work and as soon as dinner was finished came to check on all of you. Annette, so sorry about that migraine....I have a client who gets the same kind.  She says they go as quickly as they come, so I hope this is the case for you. I feel so badly for those of us who are having such difficult times. It's just not fair that we all should be experiencing things like this, but how lucky we are to have each other to comfort and support us when we need it.  Please know I keep all of you in my prayers and thoughts even though I'm not here daily, you are with me! Now, here's some fun.   I went to Kohl's today, had some time to kill before work. Well, I found a Chaps dress, black, slinky, 3/4 sleeves, VERY low cut on sale. This puppy was $80, marked down to $7.80 and the girl at the register gave me the senior discount. Did I argue over a couple of years??? Heck NO!  so, this $80 dress cost me $6.63!! What fun is that? Dear son, Jeff has an interview tomorrow at a local bank. Please keep him in your prayers.  They are starting to sell their belongings to make ends meet. If he'd only stop being so stubborn and go back to Starbuck's.  They said he could come back, but he won't eat that slice of humble pie.  Doesn't matter how old they are, we will always worry.
