No more gymnastics - Melanie moved on to her solo class and left me in the dust. She turns 3 in a couple of weeks and is a BIG GIRL now. We say that she is almost 3 but going on 30.  I got clobbered with what I think is called an optical migraine. Had it before but can't recall what the doctor diagnosed. There is not much pain involved but an array of rainbows bounce in front of the eyes. It is kind of pretty but freaky and obscures my vision for a while. They are always stress induced. Man oh man, I need to get a grip and relax!! A good way to relax is to $hop for craft $upplie$ - that'$ exactly what I will do today.

Hi Sis! I get the same sort of migraines from time to time, they are not fun, but usually pass quickly, so hoping that yours does too! Enjoy shopping. . . Prayers, Hugs and positive thoughts coming your way, Laureen

Hey there little one, If we have to endure a migraine, at least it is in technicolor Rainbow My client was uncooperative today. She only wanted to go to two stores then home. My brakes started making ugly noises so I thought it wise to come back home. It is handy to have a mechanic on the property.  Thanks for the good stuff

Good Morning OFF family.  It is warming up here in Ohio today - it has been absolutely fabulous - low humidity - 80......  but the heat and humidity is on its way back!!!    I have an app't with a new doc next week so hopefully that will work out ok.   My birdfeeders are very busy this morning .....  Both of my college aged children are working today so I have the house to myself!  I'm still working on organizing this house the way I want it even though I moved 2 years ago.....  it is hard to downsize!!  Have a great day everyone!  Prayers to Connie and Nic.  Janelle

Good morning Annette and Friends! Not much new here.  Going to Ethan's ball game this evening, so it's going to be a loooonnnnng day.  George and I rode in together, he'll pick me up around 5 - 5:30, we'll head out to LaPlace (about 45 minutes away) for the 6:30 game.  We probably won't get home until late 9ish!   That's all folks! Hi Annette and Everyone, Dentist and doctor for me today.  Teeth cleaning and b/p check-up so no biggie on either event.  I'll be very tired with two outings today.  Can't wait to see if my endurance is up to this. Work called yesterday with a big problem.  My first instinct was to go in and fix the problem but I didn't.  I knew I wasn't really up to that yet but I'm sure feeling the stress today.  I knew it was going to be a mess returning to work but this is the first reality check in that area.  Oh well.........!!!!  My son brought his dog over yesterday and she stayed overnight.  I'd really forgotten how much attention this "child" requires.  She's the "Nellie Olson" (from LIttle House on the Prairie) of the four-legged set.  Whines for what she wants.  Wants what she wants and wants it now.....  Yikes.....  I can do this.  I can do this.  I can do this.   Special prayers for those in need.  My thoughts are with each and every one of you. Hugs, Kathi

Good morning Annette and all, It'll be a quick note for me today..We have our Quarterly Family meeting at the nursing home at 11:30 for Earl's mom ( she has Alzheimers), then at 12:30 I have PT good thing they are next door to each other. Woke up with really bad back pain this am. too much walking last week and to much bending from the gardening two days in a row I guess. I have a fracture that is unstable and it's acting up again since the get away trip last week. Looks like I won;t be doing much till it goes back in place, hopefully the therapist will get it to settle down again.  Prayers for each of you, Paulette

Annette, I just love your little cartoon ( is that what they are called?) too too cute ***** Connie, my prayer for you is sustained energy for your situations, both with Pearl and Nic.... ***** Margo, I know the hurt all too well when a child or relative doesn't want anything to do with us. Yes, it is their loss but also ours. "kill em with kindness" has been my motto. A card telling them they are missed and how you have fond memories of past events is a good one... and truthful.******** Brenda, prayers going up for your job. One thought.. those jobs we think are perfect may not be. There are unknowns that may not be right for us. Just a thought. ******* My best to all of you...... Millie

Hi Annette and my OFF Friends, I hope you feel better soon Annette.  Connie my prayers are with Nic also.  Margo, it is sometimes hard to figure out our kids when they are adults.  We worry no matter how old they get.  I hope Jason has an epiphany one day soon and seeks you out. Brenda, I hope you get that job you want. I looked out the window as I was getting dressed this morning and there was a young doe eating our grass in the back yard.  And too many Starlings at the bird feeder as usual.  We are supposed to get two days of glorious weather. I got good news that our son and his family are going to stay overnight with us on July 4th so I will get some grandchildren time in.  We are hosting a picnic that day for my BIL and SIL 40th wedding anniversary.  So I have lots to do to clean and figure out sleeping arrangements for everyone. Bev
