Connie,  My prayers for Nic and your family. I hope all goes well. It's so hard for anyone going through cancer and chemo, as I know all too well.  You are a lot closer to it than I am (I only hear secondhand reports about Bruce from Gary, *****ally only hears secondhand reports from Bruce's wife ... so that's thirdhand I guess). It's especially hard for a kid who wants to be doing what kids doing and not sitting in a hospital being sick. I hope the test results are all positive. Keeping fingers and toes crossed!

Good Morning everyone  Well Yesterday I spent all day at General Dynamics Electric Boat The Navy has contracted 8 new Subs we had classes all day on paper work you know how our Goverment loves paper work  my head will explode I am sure The ship yard is vast and overwelming we saw the USS San Francisco ( SSN711) in port in Janauary 2005 Thw USS 711 Hit a Undersea mountain  because of the design and high product quality saved the ship and crew and made it back to port  out of a crew of 137 23 injured 1 died so the job we do is ( no room for error )  What an ieye opening week for me  Annette let me know how you make out  Love  BOO

Morning to all my OFF family. Hope today is good.  I went to the vet's office and put in my application. It went well for filling out a form. haha She told me that he was taking them and looking through them. I am so praying that thisis the job that God wants me to have. I would just love to work there. I know it sounds nuts but I would think about working there when I would pass it on the highway. I would sometimes think of working there out of a clear blue sky too. Like I said I know it is nuts of me but I want that job so badly!!!!! I would appreciate any prayers you can say for me. I just thought that maybe it would remind God that I am looking and if I mention to Him on occaision that is the job I would love to have it may jog His memory if He has forgotten with all the other needs that He has to take care of!!! You can't blame a girl for trying! Today is cloudy and overcast. It is suppose to rain pretty much the rest of the week. I don't know what people are going do with more rain. I don't even know where it is going to go. Everything is just so soaked. This has been a hard spring and summer. I think that Mother Nature is really mad about something. And you know that old saying about not making Mother Nature mad. Oh boy! I have to get going since I have to make a visit to the wls nurse. I got into bed last night and asked Bill what day it was and when he told me I got up and checked if today was the day and sure enough it is. I don't really want to go but what is a girl suppose to do. I have to ask Bill what the day is since I forget the dates when it gets passed the first few days of the month. I know that is a sad thing but that's me. lol I hope everyone has a wonderful day and I am sending love and hugs to all. Prayers are going up for everyone and special ones are being said for those in need.

Good morning Annette and all, Good thoughts and prayers to you Annette and a big hug. Connie, a hug to you...and thoughts and prayers... Margo, a hug goes to you too... Will meet up with some old co-workers tonight for dinner. One is retiring. Met with the attorney. In WA state there is no law that prevents an employer from sharing med info with other employees just for MD offices from sharing info. So while it is morally questionable it is not illegal.  Now, retribution for taking FMLA is illegal so that is the next route. Will meet with him again. Hopefully, no one from the old job reads these....my old paranoia popping up again. I am trying to get my gumption up to go walk on my treadmill. I am down another 1/2 pound. I think laying off of the crackers, duh, helps the scale move down. Also keeps me more awake at work...which was my real motivation for not eating those tasty morsels. Have great day all, Cheryl
