what's new TUESDAY?
It's now 9:15 and my piano student who was to be here at 9 still hasn't shown up.....the Mom is not real reliable. She has to pay me anyway, if they fail to show up for their lesson, so it's her loss.
Have the second load of laundry in the dryer.
Attended a funeral yesterday afternoon for a lovely 80 yr old lady who died suddenly from a brain aneurism (sp).
Very vital person and very active....the church was packed.
Why is it we have to wait for something like that to see people we don't get in touch with often?? Got lots of WOW comments!
Going to try and finish our book club selection today. It's called "Love Walked IN" ....I chose the book this month and was beginning to think I'd made a mistake cause I was having a hard time getting into it......half way thru and it's just getting better and better. Have club here at my home on July 13th.....already wondering what kind of
dessert I can serve.
Ordered the PB2 that Jean was telling about. ... it sounds wonderful, however, you have to buy 4 jars at a time. If it is as good as it sounds, that shouldn't be a problem. It's from a site called "Bell Plantation". Comes in powder form, can be mixed with water, and has 85% of the fat removed!!
Well, guess the piano student isn't going to show up....
gosh I really don't like that....it's rather rude of the Mom.
Annette I hope all your tests and visits with the Dr's will be okay...You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Cheryl -- we'd love to have you come to the GTG....so far we've only got 8 ladies.
Connie -- I'm here for you with open arms.
Love and hugs to all,
Pat R.

Good morning Annette and Friends! Annette, sorry you are having more health issues. What a mental picture, Tom chasing the furbrat! Last night the phone rang, George answered. I could tell it was Ethan. He called to tell us he lost a tooth and is starting swimming lessons today! We're going to try to attend his baseball game tomorrow evening. Yesterday sucked! Friday I thought I felt a slight burning and itching, Sat. and Sun. didn't notice anything, Mon. morning I felt it again. Called the GYN's office promptly at 9 when they opened. Was told come in immediately, they could squeeze me in, but no chance for after lunch appt. Thursday would be the earliest other than Mon. morn. Boss wasn't in yet, so I left him a note saying I'd be back ASAP, and told coworkers I was heading to the doc across the river. Got there by 9:40, confirmed yeast infection, two scripts filled and back to work by noon. Boss had come and gone - YEAH!!! When the boss got back from lunch he gave me hell about being sick again on a Monday! (Like I take off every Monday - I called in sick on a Monday about 8 weeks ago.) "We need to figure out why you always get sick on Monday." Geesh, I missed a little over 2 hours of work and made up some of my time by drinking a protein shake rather than eating lunch, got to work 20 minutes early, and left 30 minutes late - hey, I made up almost all of my time. He harped and harped on why I needed to go to the doc AGAIN! George says I should have embarrassed him and told him I have a yeast infection. If the big butthead gives me any trouble today, I surely will! Maybe I need to start asking him why he takes off so much! Ya know, ya try to be nice to some people and it bites you on the butt. Dr. Butthead is responsible for refreshments for our weekly Tuesday Conference today. Friday I graciously offered to pick something up for him since his grocery shopping day is Wed., and he'd have to make a special trip. He wanted to give me $5.00 for refreshments. He didn't have anything but a $20.00. *I swear I saw moths fly out of his wallet when he opened it!!!* The man is a millionaire and dresses like the homeless people who live under the Interstate overpass. He never wants to spend a penny. However, I must admitt he is very generous at Christmas digging deep into his pocket for my gift, which he doesn't have to do, and I really do appreciate it. Anyway, Knowing he really wanted to spend as little as possible, I found cookies 2 for $5.00, bought one pack chocolate chip and one pack oatmeal raisin. I have his $14.77 in change all counted out and his receipt waiting for his arrival. Well, it's 9:32 and the boss has arrived! Catch y'all later! Debbie
