Hi Linda, Nothing new and exciting on my menu. Just trying to get back in my routine after the weekend and stop the evening snacking.... Have an appointment with the attorney I met with a few times last winter...will see whether he wants to move forward...I think I am ready to now...re: old job. I kept procrastinating and thought I would just let it go but found I couldn't! Hope you have a good day dear. Cheryl

Hurricane  I was hanging on by the skin of my teeth today. Your outlook is a better idea - thank you. My anti-WLS friend visited and saw I was sad. For once I didn't have to hear the usual tyrade about the side effects of the surgery. Nope, this time the blame went to OLD AGE. This struck my funny bone.  That might sound strange, probably is - oh well. We have been friends for over 30 years and this was the normal and HONEST response I would expect. No platitudes, no sugar coating of words, just a "stop your whining, **** happens", which is good for me. But jeepers, he ruined a perfectly good pity party. So I will move on with this day, get things done and ACCEPT! Food for today: Same as almost every other day - it works for me Annette

Good Tuesday morning everybody!  Yesterday sucked!  Friday I thought I felt a slight burning and itching,  Sat. and Sun. didn't notice anything, Mon. morning I felt it again.  Called the GYN's office promptly at 9 when they opened.  Was told come in immediately, they could squeeze me in, but no chance for after lunch appt.  Thursday would be the earliest other than Mon. morn.  Boss wasn't in yet, so I left him a note saying I'd be back ASAP, and told coworkers I was heading to the doc across the river.  Got there by 9:40, confirmed yeast infection, two scripts filled and back to work by noon.  Boss had come and gone - YEAH!!!  All I had until 5:00 was 3 protein shakes and a yogurt.  Of course I went a little crazy with hunger and nerves from 5:00 until 7:00 when I gained control.  All in all, damage wasn't too bad:  5 malted milk balls, 7 mini popcorn cakes (like rice cakes), a glob of peanut butter, and a chunk of cheese.  Needless to say I wasn't very hungry for dinner when George got home at 7:30.  Ate a little black eye peas and sausage with him. When the boss got back from lunch he gave me hell about being sick again on a Monday!  "We need to figure out why you always get sick on Monday.  Geesh, I missed a little over 2 hours of work and made up some of my time by drinking a protein shake rather than eating lunch, got to work 20 minutes early, and left 30 minutes late - hey, I made up almost all of my time.  He harped and harped on why I needed to go to the doc AGAIN!  George says I should have embarrassed him and told him I have a yeast infection.  If the big butthead gives me any trouble today, I surely will!  Maybe I need to start aking him why he takes off so much!   B - protein shake S - 1/2 banana, cheese stick L - yesterday's limas, tomato and cucumber S - yogurt D - yesterday's pork chop, salad, probably some eggplant S - protein shake Debbie

Good Tuesday the sequel day to you. I hope that is goes as well as can be expected. I do know that Friday goes best! Can't blame you there.  I am going to go put my application in at a vet's office this morning. They are looking for a full time receptionist and it is right up my ally. You must be 18 or over (and we all know I am WAY over that number!) and willing to work various hours. I am willing to do that. Bill knows that I am not going to work the same crazy hours he does. lol Please say a prayer for me that I get this. I am in need of one like yesterday.  Here goes what is going on with my food today.  B: special K w/ milk and a banana L: a peice of peanut butter toast D: roast and veggies (it is the crock pot) S: sf pudding Nothing much happening there with the food either. Same stuff just a different day! Oh well, that isn't always bad I guess.  Sending you love and hugs and special prayers for you. Have a wonderful day and remember that you are loved by many.
