OT: Latest update on my friend Pearl

Connie, I am very sorry to hear that Pearl is not doing well. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I lost my best friend last year at age 57 suddenly. I was devasted by her loss and to this day cry over missing her. I thank God that he did not make her suffer any more then she had already, she had bouts with illness most of her life. I pray that God gives you the strength you will need to help Pearl and her family through this difficult time and Pearl does not suffer needlessly. God Bless you and remember the fun times and your wonderful talk this past weekend. KathiM

My dear Connie, my thoughts, prayers and love are being sent to you. I will remain keeping you and Pearl in my prayers. The conversation you had this week end that was so wonderful was Pearl's good bye to her dear friend. Know that when she passes she will be watching over you from a very special place. She too is going to be able to keep a watchful eye over Nic even though they had not met. That is the amazing promise of being in the presence of God~we are the recievers of the glorious promises that we have been told of. She will not only be your guardian angel but also one for Nic too. You were meant to remember Pearl as the last time that you saw her and as she was with the loving and fun visit that you had with her on Saturday. Remember those memories and know that you were loved by her.  You are also loved by all of us here and we are here for you while you go through this rough spot in your life. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and I am sending my love and hugs to you to help you through this hard time.

Connie, I'm so sorry to hear your friend is passing on. I think it was wonderful you were able to have one last laugh with her. I'm sure that time was so good for her and precious memories for you. Nic will be happy to hear about your "laugh in" session and how interested Pearl was to meet him. This situation is in my prayers.... .... Millie
