I'm home from surgery.   A couple of rough days, but over all everything went well.  Dr. Fitzer and the staff at  Faxton-St. Lukes Hospital were wonderful!  The nurses are amazing ! Thank you all so much.  I'm having a tough time drinking or even thinking about wanting to drink, my wonderful husband acts like a drill sergeant nurse.... he keeps reminding me sip, sip, sip,,,,, walk, walk walk.  God I love him .   thanks for all your support.

Carol, I am so glad that things went well for you during you stay with the beginning of your new life. It is going to be well worth all the hassles you have had to go through. Trust me on that one. Life after wls is nothing short of heaven on earth.  I am so glad that hubby is being so supportive. I know that Bill was for me and still is. He is the one that reminds me of so much. The new life is a learning experience and he is there to remind me gently of things that I sometimes forget. I have been blessed with him in my life. That I know for sure. It sounds like your hubby is the same. We are both blessed. Keep up the great work and you will reap many great rewards.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Hi Carol.  Welcome to the Loser's Bench!  I am just one week out and this one week has been a joy.  Follow your surgeon's rules and everyday gets better and better.  Your hubby sounds like great support - you will be taking this journey together in many ways. ~~~ Pam
