Happy Tuesday, Part I, Linda! Thanks for the protein count.  I've been testing adding up the protein from food and wondering how to get the numbers in like I can with the shakes and bullets.  It doesn't add up like that with the soup I've been eating...... LOL Still protein and water for me with some Pulverized Soup mixed in! Hugs, Kathi

Kathi, don't be overly concerned at this point about getting in all the required protein.  It usually takes several weeks to work up to that amount.  Just do what you can! Debbie

Hiya Kathi!! I don't know what you can have yet. I used to mix cheese with my soup, so when you get to that phase, it will easier with the protein. You sound great girl!! I smile when I see your post. Hugs!

Hi Linda and all, I went a bit crazy yesterday...mostly extra healthy food, but had a few chips also... back to my routine today. B-Protein shake S-Yogurt and Kashi L-ham and cheese roll up and apple and peanut butter D-cottage cheese and blueberries, something else but not sure yet S-yogurt and Kashi prob I walked on the treadmill last Friday without socks or shoes and now have dime size-nickel size blisters on the balls of my feet. Dumb. So better give the treadmill walking another day wait. Have a great day. Cheryl

Cheryl, Glad to know I am not the only one that had that "bright" idea!  My tennies were getting too big and my feet were sliding around in them, couldn't lace them tight enough anymore so I decided I'd "bare foot it", ha!  My beginnings of blisters are on the outsides of my heels, forget if that is over-pronation or not.   Just don't want to spring for new walking shoes before I have surgery and then lose a bunch of weight and have to get new ones again within a couple of months! Happy Tuesday #1 to everyone!  The neurologist through his extensive blood work found I'm slightly low with some vitamin levels (Iron, C, Bs, and still a tiny bit low D).  He recommended iron and a B complex with C, along with continuing the D but upping it to once a week rather than every other week.  Not sure if this will help my leg issues and fatigue, but it can't hurt! B - protein shake S - banana and a cheese stick L - lima beans with sausage S - yogurt D - pork chop (yes, I'm going to try again with the pork).  Cooked them yesterday by browning, then adding about 1/4 cup NSA peach jam, some lite soy sauce, garlic, and a splash of bourbon.  Took a taste, and it was gooooood.  Also having salad S - protein shake Debbie

Hiya Deb! Those chops sound delicious and very moist, and I hope you enjoyed it! It is good you had lab work done, and I hope the change will help  and energize you. You have gone through a lot Deb, I hope you can enjoy your summer. I know I will enjoy mine, as long as I stay inside..LOL. I know, I will only go out to work and swim.. I hope your day went well!
