Hi there Margo and all, Once again it's Monday, and I am bummed that I still have to work 5 days instead of 4 ten hours. I am hoping one of these days they will consider letting me do this. I don't have high hopes about this however. The weekend is just too short! I walked on my treadmill last Friday am without socks or shoes and now have a large blister (coin size) on both balls of my feet. What  a dope! I will try this am and see if it hurts. I guess I learned my lesson. Had a nice late father's day with  my parents and sister and BIL yesterday. Went a bit crazy with extra food, had some chips too so will be getting back to my routine today. Not much else new. Have a great day all! Cheryl

Good morning Margo and Friends!  Yes, George Carlin will be missed - one of the great funny men, a little off color but funny! Not much new.  George worked Sat, will be working late every night this week, probably both days this coming weekend, and probably until 10 or 12 next Monday night.  Working with budget, trying to get the money spent before the end of June.  Wish I had that problem - too much money and not enough ways to spend it! Sat. morning I went to WalMart to have my new glasses checked - couldn't see well with them.  the darned fool measured wrong and my line of vision in the right lense was 1.5 mm off center!  Small wonder I was nauseated and headachy.  They're going to remake the right lense.  While there, I managed to find two of the bras I like, some undies, socks...  I'm all set for Disney World.  I've started packing.  Mom and I aren't leaving until the 12th, but our clothes and toiletries are going ahead of us with my sister, BIL, and niece.  That way, we won't have to check any baggage.  We'll each have a small carry on.  I'm also sending protein supplements with my sister.  Oh, BTW, they're going in their camper which is nearly as big as their house!  That's not camping, a tent, Coleman stove, and lantern are what I consider camping.  Their trailer has a 4-burner stove, a microwave, master bedroom, good size frig with freezer, bathroom complete with tub.  I'm flip-flopping one minute, I'm excited about going and the next I thinking DW in mid July I must have been crazy to agree to this!  Now it looks like we'll take a taxi from mom's house to the airport since George will still be working Saturdays.  OK, rambling - back to work Debbie

Carla, I have no idea, all I know is it's on the Disney grounds!  Sister and BIL have made all the arrangements except my flight.  I'm at their mercy.  They have everything planned almost to the hour.  I have the sneaking suspicion that I'll be lucky to have time to sleep or potty!  They both keep telling me five days is Disney is not enough, but there's no way I could have taken off any longer than that from work. Debbie, They are probably staying at the Disney Campground. That is a lot of fun. You will have a ball there. We went for 2 days and it was so hot walking around.  Lots to see and not enough time to see it all. Carla

I'm also sad about George Carlin's passing.  One of my favorite routines of his was the "stuff" one, you know which one I mean? I ate part of a sub sandwich last night and I think everything about it was wrong.  Wrong type of food, not eating slowly enough (I was trying) not chewing more throughly....It got "stuck" and I ended up spending some quality time in the bathroom.  I'm so afraid I'm going to stretch my stomach pouch or dislodging the band. Must.be.more.careful.  And - follow.the.rules.to.a. "T". Mary

That's the one I was referring to - the "stuff" routine.  That was hilarious wasn't it?
Hugs! Donna L (finding_me) - I just know I'm here somewhere...

Good Morning to my OFF buddies. I Hope you all have a blessed day today. I am off soon to my daughters, The grands and I are going to pull weeds from their pumpkin patch. looks like they will have a bumper crop of pumpkins for their first garden...All the seeds sprouted and the plants are about 8-10" high already and starting to spread...The seeds came from pumpkins we got from my cousin's pumpkins last fall. His pumpkins were all between 20-100 pounds!! The girls plan on having a "Pumpkin Stand" instead of a "Lemonade Stand" this fall.LOL!!  Too bad about George Carlin, I know he was controversal to say the least but he got people talking.   Paulette
