Morning Margo! Sheesh George Carlin.... there goes another part of our generation.
Yes, I am still alive and kicking. Life has been so busy being a full time grandma. I finally uploaded 2 new pictures of LP. I treasure the one with my mother holding him. They are under the photo album My Grandson.
No much to report. N is back in the hospital. I think she was in and out 3 times last week. My son came and spent Saturday night through later today. I was able to do some home things while he and N and LP spent some good quality time together.
Time for me to get ready for work. Smooches to everyone!

The love of my OH Family has me humbled!!!!

is it raining this morning there Margo?
It has poured here since 1am last night , just straight down rain very very hard.from what i can see in my rain guage it shows over 7 inches . darn and i so wanted to mow grass today ....NOT.
Tonight is our support group meeting, did i tell you all that i am now the leader. Our leader quit and the members held a quick election and it came up me as a unimous vote. so guess i will try it for awhile, hope i can do it well. I have a box of samples for tonight.
Have a great day , dont forget your flippers.

GOD BLESS YOU TODAY

Hey Jan, I think you'll like being a group leader. Check out the Leader Forum here, they have a great training program and will send you copies of the OH magazine every other month for your group. They also have some websites that will send you free samples for your meetings too.
Your rain is on it's way here, I think. Hope it's not 7 inches though!!!

Yep, good ol' George. I'll miss him being around. Not that I always agreed with his political statements, but Jan's right, some of his stuff was very, very funny and even made you think. It's a sad day.
My arms are so sore from weed-whacking yesterday I can hardly lift them. Just enough to type and feed myself, so what else do I needs to worry about??? LOL
Not a lot going on today. Found the elusive slip at Dillard's, same price as Sears but a nicer one, so off I'll go. I've decided to take both outfits for the wedding and see what the SIL thinks. I found out yesterday that the other SIL is buying her teenaged son a new suit, his dad is wearing one too. I told her it was silly, neither Gary or my son are wearing one, for heavens sake, it's the Fourth of July, outside in the So Cal heat for God's sake!!! The only reason the bride's dad is wearing a tux is that he HAS to lol. Of course, it all fell on deaf ears. They're the "we're better than the Jones'", they don't keep up, they have to one-up them. So be it. Let them sweat in the heat.
Ok lovely ones, I'll check back in later.

Happy Monday, Margo, and Everyone,
Very sad losing George Carlin. Truly a funny man. Saw him many years ago and amazing timing with an audience.
Spent a quiet Sunday. Got to the market and that went very well. Got tired once about halfway through the store but stopped, rested and went on easily. Tasted a different Progresso Chicken Soup yesterday and it didn't taste very good so I suspect my tastebuds are beginning to play havoc. It's expected so no surprise really.
Plan to call the Primary Care doctor's office and see about the blood pressure medicine. Couldn't hurt to talk to him about it and see if it needs to be addressed. I didn't take the water pill yesterday and actually felt much better. Not sure if it's a coincidence or if it made a difference. I did take the water pill this morning. I don't really like playing around with medicines without the doctor involved so he'll get involved!
Anyway, have a great Monday!
Hugs,
Kathi
