Hello dear sweet Linda, this is my 2nd time writing this, don't know where the first one went, the screen went all blank in the course of typing and hasn't shown up yet.  Anyway.... I saw the nutr. on Friday, lost 2 lbs. in the last month. She told me I am still not eating enough and that is why my weight loss is so slow. OK... so we reached a compromise. I agreed to eat 1000 cal a day for the next month to see if her way works for me. This is a big adjustment for me I'm usually bet .700-900 cal, also to eat a BIG breakfast. So here is the day so far: B: coffee,  Carb control yogurt, 1/2 c eggbeaters, 2 sl Turkey bacon and 1 sl lo carb bread w/ s/f jam, L- 2 oz smoked salmon, 1/2 c cottage cheese and  1 c broccoli salad. (493 cal & 34 Carbs) so far, stuffed already to the gills ) yet to have today :S: Apple Dinner; Turkey burger, salad & 1/2 c Brown Rice.     Congrats on your 8# weight loss, I looked at your profile and you are one amazing lady!!!!!You are a true inspiration.  Hugs, Paulette

Hi Linda, I haven't been around lately, but just wanted to congratulate you on the 8 lb. weight loss.  That's wonderful!  I am pushing really hard to get into Onederland this week.  I haven't been there in about 30 years!  B: Protein shake. L: Part of a ham and cheese omelet, and 2 bites of DH's steak. D: Maybe just another protein shake. S: SF pudding. Your menu sounds really good today! Good Evening All!  Linda, you are one fantastic lady!  I admire all of you so much.  I do wish things would go a little faster for me...but guess I'll be on the loser's bench when the time is right for me.   I went to AppleBees tonight and that was evidently the wrong thing to do.  My ulcer is screaming at me now.  I ate 1/4 of my Burbon St Sirloin and about 1/3 of a baked potato and egads...I'll not be doing that again any time soon...lol Annette, I hope things will work out with your osteoporosis.

Yay Linda!!! I wish I could lose 8 lbs.  My weight lose is slowing due to my not exercising.  I started swimming last week, then got a cold. I'm going to go tomorrow with my DD Nicole. B- 1/4 cup Kashis crunch & 1/4 cup of Fage yogurt. S- Protein drink L-FF 1/3 cup refried beans eith ff chedder sheese and salsa. S-protein drink D-Turkey rollup w/pickel slice adn some apple & peanut butter.
