New to site

Hi Carol, My name is also Carol and I am 3 months post-op.  I have just started using this site and i find it really helpful.  I was a self-pay as well.  My insurance said I would have to go on a supervised weight loss program and I have been on SO MANY that luckily I had a Dad who said he'd pay.  I couldn't wait any longer - I am a bit impulsive but I was so sick of losing and gaining it back plus more.  I have learned that you have to eat in order to lose weight. So be sure you really are eating enough.  I am not familiar with VSG surgery - how is that done?  Best wishes.
