Well Ladies and Gentlemen, it's a few minutes past midnight.  I took something that will hopefully help me sleep tonight - waiting for it to knock me out.  Barely got 4 hours sleep last night, dragging hiney, but can't unwind.  Rather than sit in front the idiot box and munch, I decided to check emails and post What's New. Play nice like you always do, and I'll try to check back in the morning. Debbie

~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~. Gee Debbie, I don't know if I should be posting yet. LOL It is not Thurs here. LOL I had my 3 month check up Tues with my Nut and surgeon. Im pleased to say everything is going very well. The only hick-up was I'm a little low on my protein. My number should be between 17 and 25... it is currently at 15... whatever that means. LOL But I feel really good about all of this. My BMI is 35... I'm more interested in this # than I am my weight... Of course I do watch my weight... lol Anyway, not much going on here. Not sure what is going on Thurs. But I'm sure it will be fine. Will head to bed... Millie

well here I am...up far too late!

We sure have been having terrible storms here..incredible amounts of raimn, hail, thunder and lightning...everyday this past week!  This is quite unusual for this area.  In fact, we have lost power six times in the last seven days!

Ive been so busy with my new business, InfoDIVA, and have just       sent out several Press Releases to local newspapers.  Yesterday I    signed up yet another new client so I have to make her a           certificate proclaiming her business as a proud Member of the   InfoDIVA  H.I.T.T. List - Honour, Integrity, Trust & Truth!

Ive done a series of artwork projects for a client and now, she is so pleased with my work that she has hired me for her entire project!  Mother comntinues to do well considering she is almost 89...I will be doing her groceries and errands tomorrow.

Im feeling good but Im due back at my doctor for bloodwork and my annual PAP tst, mammogram and bone density tests...ick!

JB has almost finished completely replacing the roof on this place..it's  huge undertaking because this split-level house is so big and the garage, tractor-shed and 8 car barn are all attached...thats alot of shingles. Add to that, he added an external attic fan to the single floor section to decrease the heat absorption  and the heat buildup in the attic over the livingroom, diningroom and kitchen areas and hopefully will cut back on our air conditioning costs and hydro consumption.  It certainly works in the bedroom section of the house.

Well Im off to bed...got more artwork to do and clients to meet and new reading glasses to get, new battery needed for my cell phone and maybe some some art supplies to buy, when I get up.

*hugs to all*

Goooood morning eveyone. I hope that today is wonderful! Nothing much happening here today. I am going to make time for me. I a lot of times fail to do that and I have realized that it is important and everyone of us neds to do that. So.....today is the day. I am not sure what I am going to do and the strange thing is I am not sure how to do it. I guess it has been a long time since I did it if I can't remember what to do! lol Joan's funeral went nicely yesterday if that is something that can be sid about a funeral. I had a problem with the minister though. Joan went there for a long time and while she was sick the minister went to go see her on a regular basis. But during the funeral he kept calling her Jenny instead of Joanie and Baker instead of Oldham. I just think that is rude. The least he could have done was remember her name for the poor woman's funeral. I don't think that is asking to much if you ask me. Evidently it was to much to ask out of him though. Her best friend spoke also. They had been best friends for 37 years. I told Bill that I know that Ella couldn't do that since she is one who just can't talk in front of a lot of people. In fact it doesn't even need to be a lot of people. If there is a few she is alright but not over that for her to talk publicly. Bill said that one of her daughters could do it and I told him that they aren't my best friend and so why would I want them to talk. lol  Bill was out and watered his flowers already. They are growing good. My petunias were looking a bit over watered so I told him to jus****er them every other day or so. They are looking a lot better now. I kept telling him that he was watering them to much but he wouldn't listen until they started to looking like a bunch of flowers that were over watered. Then he finally got the message. haha I guess the time has come for me to go on to other things now. I am sending love and hugs to all and prayers are going up for everyone too. Special ones are being said for those in need of them. Have a wonderful day and I will meet you back here tomorrow morning for the same little chat to get caught up on everyones life. I love hearing from everyone on the comings and goings of their daily llife. Bloom where you are since that is where God wants you to be.

that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Hi Debbie, I'm home from SF- it was a terrible trip. I took my friend to the cancer center because she needs to have her thyroid removed. She is difficult- I think I'm the only friend she has left because she can be so abrasive and bossy. This is the first time that I've driven her and spent the night with her and I was DONE! I am always honest with her... I am not mean, but she is always so angry and I have trouble with that. She ordered me around just like she does to her husband. I told her to knock it off. Before we left I said that I wanted to enjoy our time and to please curb her anger toward her husband. To me he is a saint to put up with her crap. I would NOT put him down and would not support her complaints which made her furious. Oh lord! We were in a beautiful hotel room with all of the trim, but she complained the whole time. I was done after one night so we checked out. As soon as I got her home she went into a tirade with her husband. As I left he said "Thank you for driving her Julia- I really appreciate it."  My friend started freaking out- "Why are YOU saying thank you? She's MY friend, MY friend, MY friend!" As soon as we got out the door I told her to never do that to me again- I was embarrassed to witness the degrading way she treats her husband. Her complaints are petty and "crazy". If I were him I would get the hell out- she is toxic. I think our friendship is over. It was that bad. She has had years of therapy but still does not see herself as having any flaws at all. I have tried so hard to stay her friend because she has alienated her family and all of her friends. I see her rarely (like I said- she's hard to take sometimes)- I think I am going to cut the rope.  Wow- that was an experience. I'm trying to decompress- thanks for listening! Julia
