OT: NuWave

Does anyone use the NuWave Infrared oven? how do you  like it?

Hi there Dar..... No I've not used it but I want one.  They make it look like kitchen heaven on TV.  Matt and I saw the infomercial and put the information on the fridge to research further.  Are you going to buy one?  The cost seems reasonable to me, but I'm just cautious enough to fear another Ron Popiel waste of money and another "thingy" sitting on the kitchen counter collecting dust and demanding cleaning...let me know how you like it? We had a yard sale at our mobile home park last Sat. One of the ladies had one, new, no box, not boo****pt going over looking and humming and hawwing....a couple of my friends said, go get it you want it...well, not working in so long I thought, no, can't spend the extra money.....so I got a call yesterday and I am 98% sure that I got one of the two jobs I interviewed for two weeks ago.... One of the ladies I was talking to yesterday said her friend has one and loves it....so that cinched the deal, I went to the other ladies place and she still had it....so I invested the $15 in it and brought it home and washed it up....it's never been used, just dusty and such, now I just need to figure out how to use it...... yep, $15.....I told her being she didn't sell it I would give her $10, but she said no...... so  I am scouring the web for how to use and recipes.....

Darlene, A lot of manufacturers put their manuals on their website for customers who lose their manuals.  You should check the makers website. Take care, Bev PS.  Their website had a customer support email [email protected] Email and tell them you lost the book in a move or something.  Maybe they can email it to you.

Oven aside - though I do want one too!  Congratulations on the 98% sure job.  If it is one you really want, then I hope it's yours.  I haven't been to the board enough to know you were not working!!  Hope all is well.......

yes, lost my job last Sept.........plus Nov hubby asked for divorce......I am living in my dark side right now......

Yikes....when it rains, etc.  I guess the best that can be said is that we know it isn't permanent, this dark side...there will be light again one day.  Again, good luck on the job.
