I have a hard time biting my tongue.  I would have to have a running mantra in my head all day long saying "Don't say anything.", "Don't say anything.", "Don't say anything.".  And even then  ~ I don't know . . . I hope it works to make things better for you. Not much news, not having a good day as far as food choices ~ not prepared.  No breakfast and I was eating SF Stover Mounds Bars in the car on the way to work.  I'll have to count that as breakfast. B - 3 bite size Mounds bars (Russell Stover Sugar Free - 220 calories for 3 pieces. Yikes L - Wendy's chili (I ran out of Smart Ones in the freezer at work) S - Yogurt with blueberries - I lost some of it when I dropped the container this morning and it split. D - Who knows. What a disasterous eating day with no planning.  Tomorrow will be better I hope. Glad you like my new picture. Love, Bev

Thanks Brenda, I've always had chipmunk cheeks and no matter how much weight I lose they won't go away. LOL.  I want a neck revision to get rid of the extra chins and the turkey waddle.  But I'm too cheap to do anything out of pocket about it so maybe I'll leave instructions for the undertaker to make me look good on my way out . . . Hee-Hee. Have a great day. Bev

Hi all, They all laugh at me at work because my lunch bag is really a tote bag. I panic if I don't have food with me since I don't have many places around me I can get healthy food here. If it isn't in my bag, then I can't (or shouldn't) eat it. Breakfast: Protein shake. Snack: Yoplait lite yogurt with a few berries Lunch: 1/2 cup homemade turkey chili with 1/8 cup kraft lite shredded cheddar cheese. Snack: 1/2 banana with 1 tbs. peanut butter. Dinner: Steak with salad made with low calorie, sugar free dressing. Snack: Sugar free jello pudding cup. I have lost inches this past month even though the scale hasn't really budged. I feel like such a phony when everyone around me tells me how 'thin' I am. Don't feel thin. I know how much I weigh. Does your head ever really catch up? I am wearing a size 12 and at one time I would have cut off a limb to say that but now? This stall has really done a number on me. Ok, anyone want some cheese with that whine?? Sorry. Won't happen again. Bonnie

Good morning all,  It is very muggy here to day, should hit 90+ and 90+ humidity yuk! and t-storms this afternoon-evening. I have an upset stomach since last night. I seem to be having trouble digesting my evening meal the past 3 days.(heartburn in the am, otherwise I feel fine)  That is new for me . Today we are supposed to meet our good friends for lunch at Olive Garden. We'll see..I hate to cancel on them as she is going through Chemo and doesn;t have many good days to go out. here's my plan if we go out.. B- yougurt & flaxseed  coffee, L- Soup & salad D- maybe just yogurt. No nacks since we're eating out at lunch.  Paulette

Oh dear Linda, I hope that you have a better job of biting your tongue than I usually have. I find that to be one of the hardest things for me to do. I just keep thinking of my mom saying "Keep peace and don't say anything." and I work on that. Boy! It sure is hard to do.  Nothing much happening today. I am going to put my application down the road at the pawn shop. It is not my ideal job but it isn't the worst thing that I could get by a long shot!! Wish me luck! I think I am going to need it. The menu is staying about the same today as usual. Here goes nothing.  B: sf oatmeal and banana L: chili with cheese D: maybe we might go out~that would be nice for a change S: sf something or other I hope that your day is a good one, sweet Linda. Keep peace dear friend. I know sometimes it is hard but it will make my mom happy. :-) I am sending you love and hugs and special prayers to you my dear big sister.

And a very good day to you too Linda and Friends!  So what is Hawaiian broiled meat platter?  Sounds delicious!  I had to smile at Bonnie's lunch bag (a tote bag).  That's what I use too.  I carry my vitamins, breakfast, and lunch to work every day, rarely buy lunch.  My tote bag is a chartreuse - putrid looking - beach bag I found for $1.00 at Dollar Tree two years ago.  That ugly thing probably glows in the dark it's so bright.  I don't have to worry about losing it or having it stolen. B - protein shake S - none yet, it's so close to lunch time, I'll probably skip my snack L - what else but CATFISH!  Today I have a little crawfish ettouffee spooned over it.  Son cooked ettouffee with some of the leftover crawfish from Sunday.  Will also have some broccoli with cheese and a small fresh, no salmonella added tomato (it's safe, straight from our garden). S - yogurt D - ummm catfish, carrots, broccoli, and maybe a bit of tomato S - protein shake I brought several tomatoes to work to share.  You'd have thought I was offering them gold when they realized they were home grown! Hey Linda, I haven't posted in a while because I've been a slacker, but not in the food or exersice department.  I've been logging everything on thedailyplate.com everyday, anything that goes in my mouth, goes on that log.  I need to stay accountable.  but I miss you guys, so here I am.  Cuppa with protein(20 grms) B- 2% String Cheese. L-spinach quiche(Dreamgirls recipe) (12 gms) I will try some cherry tomatos. S-Nectar Protein drink (23 gms) D-Turkey Meatballs and spinach salad (trying new things, as per nut, we'll see how it sets) I've been getting my booty moving, doing a low impact Salsa areobics DVD three time a week.  I thought I was gonna die the first time, but it's getting better. Onward and upword as they say!  Have a good one!
