Hi Linda, Have no idea what I'm eating today but would like to know your recipe for meatballs...I see that you have them quite often so they must be good. My Nut says I have to add more carbs to my diet, and she said only 50gr protein, 100oz water. I lost 8# in 3 wks between nut visits and I feel fine but she wants me to add more carbs. Carbs kinda scare me....they always got me into trouble in the past and since I don't have a pouch yet it is hard to stop once I start. Someone mentioned that to take only the portion you will be eating and put the rest away till next meal so as to not be tempted. I also am told to think about why I want to eat. Lots of homework for me the next few weeks. 2 nut appts down and 4 to go. I got them scheduled into Sept so I know for sure my surgery won't be till after that. Have a great day everyone!! Alice

Alice....here is the Italian Meatball recipe......... 1# extra lean ground beef (or ground turkey) 1# italian pork sausage 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese 1 package shredded mozzarella cheese ( I use 1 1/2 cups) 3 eggs Mix  and make into 3 ounce balls. I get about 9 large meatballs out of a batch. (When cooked they end up being about 3 ounces) Bake at 400 degrees for 30-40 minutes. 1 meatball= 21 grams of protein These are really good and they freeze so well.  Let me know what you think if you try them out. Hugs, connie d

Boy, I am glad to see you, was a bit worried last night but figured if I didn't see you this morning I'd post a "where's Linda" thread. Looks like the scale is moving again, not sure if it's for real tho with my stomach issues. I have been eating more protein and less carbs (ie crackers ) we'll see. B-protein shake S-yogurt and kashi L-ham and cheese roll up, cream cheese pickle beef roll up, peanut butter and apple (maybe if it fits) S-peanut butter apple that didn't fit at lunch D- cottage cheese and strawberries Have a nice peaceful, quiet day dear friend...
