OT......Update on my friend....

Pat my friend.....talking with Pearl has made me feel so much better. She is ready to go...no fear....and is at peace.  I will miss her and it saddens me but she will be pain free forever very soon. Thanks for the lovely reply. Love and hugs....connie d

Margo...thank you for the kind words. I know I will rest alot better tonight. She sounded so peaceful and happy. I so needed to hear that. Glad you were able to reconnect. I know I got a measure of peace from the final couple of years I spent with my college friend Gloria, who died two years ago this month. We always stayed in touch after college (more so than our other friends did with her and her husband ... we all went to college together), but we became especially close those two years when I knew she had cancer and then as she fought it and finally, when she gave up the fight. She became incredibly wise in those final months (or maybe she was always that way and I just didn't listen). Anyway, I hope you get to spend some time with her.

Connie, there is nothing that I can say that will help the pain that you are going through right now. I know that since she is at peace she has made any amends that she needed to and that she is at peace not only in her own soul but also with her God. I pray that He takes her and spares here any more discomfort and that she will rest in peace with God away from all earthly pain, heartache and will have only peace, love and happiness. Know that we are with you and if you need anything we are only a click away. We are behind you and feel for you at this time of upset for you. I am sending lots of love and big hugs to you. Brenda...this is the most beautiful reply I have ever recieved. Thank you so much. I am so happy that she will be with the Lord soon and not have anymore pain. She said the pain was so intolerable.
