When we give up on doing things in our own power, God does give us what we ask for in his name. Praises to Him. Good things do happen to good people and from what I've learned about you on this board, you are good people!

Donna how right you are in your words. I kept doing it my way and finally came to the conclusion that if I didn't achieve it that it was alright and I would get there when God wanted me there. Then poof~it happens and not just the .2 pounds that I wanted but 2 whole pounds to go with it. I just have to keep giving it over to Him. I just need reminding on it sometimes because in case you didn't notice I like to be in control of everything!! Only problem is when I am things most of the time gets mixed up!

Connie thanks for the welcome to Onderland. I had my doubts that I would be able to make it. I pictured me at 200.0 pounds for the rest of my life!! haha I just wanted to tell you that I get so much inspiration from all of my big sisters and you are among them.

I am running today but COULD NOT leave without giving you a gigantic hug and congrats on a job well done!! Oh, I can SO IDENTIFY with your elation at slipping below that damned 200 mark!! I sat at 201 for what seemed like months......and when that scale finally said 199, I thought I was hallucinating!! LOL But, the happy news is that after 199, it slid down VERY FAST.....so I think 200 is a BIG obstacle and once you power through that, you are so on your way to your goal.

My sweet big sister Maui Karen! Thank you so much for the words of ispiration. I take so much of what you say and tuck it into my heart for safe keeping. You are such a loving and kind soul and have so many wise and wonderful words of love and support for not only me but all of us.
