Linda, And I thought it was hot here in Tennessee! B:  1 packet weight control oatmeal made w/ 2/3 c. skim milk & 1/2 banana S:  1/2 c. cheesecake cottage cheese pudding S:  1/2 protein bar L:  2 oz salmon, 1/4 c. mixed veggie salad S:  1/2 c. LF cottage cheese w/ pineapple S:  1 oz Queso Fresco cheese D:  1 crabcake, 1/4 c. roasted asparagus S: 4 oz SF pudding This seems like an awful lot of food to me now, but if you had served me this much pre-op, I would have been pouting. Good Morning Beautiful Linda and Wonderful Ladies.. Mom is at my sister's for a couple of days. I found myself grazing yesterday .... I didn't have to cook a meal per se' so I just kinda ate when I wanted. I'm sitting next to Cheryl in the cold weather corner. We have had a lot of unusually cold, windy and rainy weather. Now, I live in the Puget Sound area which gets its fair share of rain... ... but this is ridiculous. I don't ever remember getting cold like this. Ok Ok enough.. .. B: cottage cheese / peach L: ??? D:grilled meat, zucchini & carrots S: protein shake.

Good morning, my little sweetie! I hope that you are staying cool in that weather. It is suppose to get into the low 80's but the important thing is there is not suppose to be rain until tomorrow!! Yah!!! I am so sick of rain. I love seeing the sun and knowing that it isn't going to dissapear!! Today is pretty much the same as usual. Bill just made me part of my breakfast. That being a peice of peanut butter toast. I told him that he was a *****eap on the peanut butter and asked him if he was saving the jar for himself. He laughed.  B: peanut butter toast and sf yogurt L: chili with cheese D: steak (on the grill of course!) and veggies S: sf pudding Better get going. Today is our 20th wedding anniversary and we are staying home and doing what ever hits us. That is probably not much! haha Have a wonderful day and I am remembering you in my special prayers. I am sending lots of love and big hugs your way today.

Good morning Lovely Linda and Awesome friends! Late arriving at work - blood work drawn.  Playing catch up.   B - protein shake S - protein shake L -   I do have a stash in the freezer here at work - Mexican chicken and beans, or I'll go down to the cafeteria and see about soup or salad or what kind protein they have. S - yogurt or protein bar depending on lunch D - Once again broiled catfish!!!, broccoli, tomato and cucumber salad S - peanut butter or cheese Ya know it's amazing how good I felt this morning after fasting (nothing but small sips of water) since 8:00 last night!  I was so tempted to stop at McDonald or Burger King this morning, could almost taste a sausage biscuit.  Came to my senses, remembering last time I tried one   Certainly not as good as it once was, and definitely not worth it.   Debbie

Hello Linda.....dear friend!!!  I am not doing so well emotionally. I wrote about it on the Wednesday Whats New. My friend is dying. She got cancer shortly after her WLS. I am trying to locate her. B-Slim Fast protein drink The rest of the day will be whatever I can get down. Probably just more Slim Fast. Love and hugs to you ....Boo!!

Lap Band on 05/21/07 with
Hi Linda and Everyone, I spent the morning at my WL surgeon for a check-up.  I had him do an "unfill" which means he took a little saline out of my lap band.  I was having problems with too much restriction and acid reflux.  My drinking and eating is a little easier now. At least I can enjoy what I eat instead of thinking, oh, this is going to hurt or giving up on eating. B - the insides of a sausage breakfast burrito from Mickey D's L - Smart Ones Homestyle chicken and green beans S - Cranberry Nut Trail Mix D - Grilled Chicken with mixed vegetables S - 1/2 the fat and no sugar added ice cream Stay cool and kewl Linda. Hi Linda! Wow..... I just sent my daughter home to Phoenix and it sure wasn't anywhere near 105 here by the ocean in California.... Yikes......  Stay cool dear lady. I'm still liquids so it's Protein drinks and water for me once again but wanted to chime in and say Hello..... Hugs, Kathi
