....Good Morning....too much on my mind and I woke up, finally just got up......I have been super busy lately.in real estate.......Miss you all....Let' s hear what is happenin' in your neck of the woods. I have been trying to get there everyday...but sometimes I have to sacrafice you guys....I know if I don't work out I will probably injure myself seriously as I seem to be pre-occupied  all the time....balalncing balls in the air...and those balls are people's lives.....take care.... pps...WOW did you all hear we "LOST" two lakes..Lake Delton and Mirror Lake....I had just been up to the one on business a week ago to look at all our Waterfront Condos.....now they are MUD Front condos...those poor people....five homes were washed into the river. It is a huge tourist area...those people count on the summer months to make all their money.....Wisconsin Dells... .

morning! i listened to an interview- a gal from lake denton--none of them had flood ins--couldn't get it -were told they wouldn't need it! wow- marti-it is so good to see you !! and to know that you are doing well for the time being-keeping yourself active-no i am not working out... so- what's new? well g'ma got moved to a care facility -the hospital didn't want her anymore! her speech is a tad slurry and she needs to have watching over...such an awesome gal!!! michael's shoulder surgery went like a dream! doc was very very pleased to be able to fix him yet again! doc was afraid to find wet kleenex inside instead he had good stuff to work with...tho this time i think he opened him up to operate. this time he has a big pillow contraption strapped to his side ...so i get in to see him in recovery thinking i'm taking him home and hoping it's soon cuz i am really tired and hungry and i'm sure roxie has to go out--he was in such pain he was unbearable! the nurse gave him enough narcotics to knock out an elephant-and it took almost 2 hours before michael went down! i sure hope some day he can appreciate the humor that he was wheeled up to Peds to be admitted overnite! i had to come home for his meds and go back-nuisance- and it was 945 when i finally left there to come home for the nite-i'll pick him up after work today i guess- tho i am sure it will be in their time not mine and i just want a nap ! roxie did NOT want to sleep so at 245 i finally walked her lil butt out her to the kitchen and tied her and said nite nite! nothing else new in my life.....it's hump day! and we didn't win the lottery last nite......booooooooooo hugs and prayers

Hugs Margo -  Sounds like your granny is a tough old bird. Many her age would not have done so well. I hope her progress go smoothly. God help you - a hubby recouperating from surgery  will not be easy. Peds was probably a good place for him if he's at all like my hubby. I am glad that the surgery went well.

Margo, I just knew Maxine would bounce back quickly. She is so healthy! Glad Michael's surgery went well. I don't envy you having to be a nurse to your hubby ....they are such babies!

Margo, I am so glad that Michael's surgery went well. That is a load off your mind. Now to get him through the recouperation process!! My prayers are going up for you and gettig through that. haha Ped's is a good place for him because those men are worse than the children in there! I know this from my sweet Bill! He is a %^&#(@ when he is sick and in the hospital.  I am so glad that your grandma is doing so well. My prayers continue for her. May God keep her in the circle of His loving and healing arms.  Sending you lots of love and big hugs too!!! Make sure you take care of Margo since she is so important to all of us. She needs time too!!!!

Marti, What a pleasant surprise to see you posting twice in one day. Congratulations for your WOW's. Your exercising is paying off. Go get 'em girl. I see our new dietician today. Our other one left and I thought it was about time to meet the new one. It has been months since my menu has been reviewed, not that there have been any changes. Still, I paid for 3 years of service, in advance and there is no sense in ignoring her expertice.  Last night I had a craving for pizza, hot dogs, diet Pepsi, and gooey chocolate cake. Strange combination to some but those were/are all my food demons.  Nope, didn't have any of those in the house. Saved once again by the Food Police - that's ME. Off to gymnastics. See you later. Morning all,
Up early and have ridden the exercise bike 4.2 miles. Today I go to Kalamazoo to see the orthopedic surgeon about my right knee....keep your fingers crossed for me that there won't have to be surgery....implant is 11 yrs old but I was told recently they should last 20-25 yrs.

Annette, I bought a Totino Pizza (they're really cheap =
like $2.00) had lots of nice toppings and the crust is rather like a thin piece of cardboard! I could only eat 2 small pieces and threw away most of the crust, but it satisfied my craving for pizza .... really wasn't all that good afterall.
Hot dogs and pop don't bother me in the least. I haven't had a diet pepsi or any pop for over a year now and I really don't miss it.....now gooey chocolate cake is another story....don't dare to even think about it!!!

Going to heat up again here today -- low 80's. Yesterday was picture perfect -- low humidity, sunny, bright blue skies and temps in the low 70's....just knew it wouldn't last. This year the heat doesn't bother me so much. But I still hate the high humidity!

Well better grab a bite of breakfast and get off to work.
Need to leave early as my appt. in K'zoo is 1:15 and will take an hour to get there.

Marti, It is wonderful to see you posting. Wow the weather in Wisconsin is crazy. My boss is on a road trip with her family thru there this week comming up. I hope she doesnt get into to to much rain. Here we are getting rain but only in the afternoon. No Hurricanes yet. I baught my ticket for the Michigan gettogether in October yesterday.  Now I have to work on my ticket for Augest to Chicago to see my family. Well off to work.  See ya all later. Hi Marti and all, Marti, congrats on the Wow moment. That is so cool! Kathi, hope you are still feeling good, and just want to tell you you are amazing with how well you are doing... Went to the memorial for my friend at my old job, apt building for seniors, and it turned out wonderful. Just what I and the residents needed to say good bye. It was well attended and was so nice to see my old residents. My husband came and played his guitar, my father who is a  Lutheran Pastor (yep, I'm a bratty PK) assisted a former co-worker (a friend of both Nancy and I)and did the service. Funny story...two of my former residents, two of the kinda mean little negative ladies, were about 10 feet away from me, exclaiming over my weight loss and how "skinny"  I was getting...and then one said "Well, she has lost alot of weight but now she just looks OLD." "Yeah," said the other, "she does look really old now." I looked over at them and one said, "OH honey, we're just talking about  how good you look!" I wanted to say, I may have lost weight but I haven't lost my hearing! but I just smiled and laughed. Whatever! It really didn't bother me, just chalked it up to considering the source. Anyway...was a very nice afternoon. We are having record cold temps here and in some areas even snow! I am so jealous of all of you with hot weather. I have been looking forward to trying out my new body and feeling good in the heat instead of sweaty and exhausted! Waaaaa....... Tummy is still touchy but haven't heard from the ultra sound place yet...I will just wait till my appt with my pcp next week, as long as it stays like this, and she will make sure I get all the tests I need and I won't have to worry if Group Health will pay or not... As far as exercise Marti, I have been a lazy girl and instead of my treadmill, I have been coming here to see you all.....good excuse??? Have good day all.... Cheryl
