Thanks & Question
Thanks all for your supportive messages -- I'm keeping them and re-reading them in the tough moments. We're doing something entertaining every day, staying active, and moving forward. Does everyone feel it takes all day to eat, drink and walk enough to stay on our program at this stage? Does the routine eventually require less time and focus? This reminds me of bringing a new baby home -- only I'm not looking so precious.

Marilyn,
I know just what you mean. I sometimes feel like my WLS journey is the only journey I'm on right now. It takes a lot of energy and attention, but it is SO worth it. So what if it goes on taking all this time and focus for the rest of my life? My health is better, my energy is better, my self-confidence is better, my appearance is better...
You are too a precious new baby! WLS is another birthday, and you need to take care of that baby the way you never did before. And remember, you don't have to do it alone. Years ago, my OA sponsor used to tell me: Think of yourself as a precious newborn baby resting in the palm of God's hand.
