What we are eating,and what's eating us!!!! Tuesday!
Linda, I could use a hooky day! Hope you enjoy yours! I started with a migraine yesterday on the way home, and it's still with me today. Got a feeling it's going to be one of those 3-day ones. GRRR! I've taken two of my allotted three rounds of my special meds from the neurologist, and it hasn't budged. Been babysitting the Dept. Head this morning. He's a nice guy, another of our older docs @ 80. (Read my what's new RE: Dept. Head and his award!) We're all very proud of him!
Didn't make it to support group last night or to the hospital to visit Pat (whose dad was moved to hospice yesterday and I probably would have gone there for nothing anyway). Hard rain plus headache made me stay home. Talked to Pat this morning - her dad is resting comfortably and she's feeling better now that she knows he's not in pain.

L - if I feel up to chewing with this migraine, I brought broiled catfish, broccoli with cheese, and some fresh tomato and cucumber salad. It will keep for tomorrow if I decide on another protein shake.
S - yogurt or protein shake
D - More - you guessed it - catfish (I'm hooked - get it "HOOKED") Actually it's store bought fish on sale at the local grocery. Makes George feel bad that I buy fish. He said he feels like he's not providing for me when I buy fish, he should be able to catch enough for us. He does, I just LOVE catfish now. OK, rambling - must be the meds! Also will have oven roasted carrots with garlic and tomato with mozzerella (SP)
S - at this point, protein shake is all I really want, so probably another one.
There's carrot cake in the front office for someone's b'day, and I don't even feel like chewing it!
Damn headache got me loopy! Yes, that's my excuse!

I could eat fish everyday. Tell George the one's you buy are never as good as his. You have a good menu actually.
Tomorrow I shall tackle the world again,as will you, a woman needs her omega 3's for that!
I hope your head feels better soon, sometimes I have headaches when the barimetric pressure gets dense, I wonder if you do too.

Good morning, Linda. It is Tuesday the sequel and life is good. It is sunny and cool. The temp is suppose to get to about 80. No sight of rain until Thrusday night. I just hope that it happens that way! I am so tired of rain. :-(
Nothing much happening here today. Just picking up some mess in the living room and emptying the dishwasher. That is about it. I have a meeting at the church tonight. I hope that everyone is not so long winded as they usually are! That would be the day~everyone in my church is long winded. I wish that the church ran on wind and not money. We would be one rich church. hehe
The same as far as food is going. I did do some shopping yesterday and made a boo boo. I found some wheat bagels and they had 9 grams of protein. I thought that I would toast one and spray butter on it. I did and it didn't sit right. I told Bill there will be no more bagels eaten by these lips! Just a terrible feeling in Harpo and he wasn't happy. When Harpo isn't happy neither am I!!!!

Hiya Brenda, sounds like a nice mellow day for you. I stole one for me...smile. My job is kind of stressful,and I was not in the mood..smile. Breads can be hard, they kind of mush up like cement, and blow up in us, like if you put a piece of bread in a glass of water, you will see this. I did some laundry,I would not do it until I had my lavender rinse,no OCD here....LOL. Hope your day went well. Blessings and smiles for you..

After all of the email responses yesterday, I eliminated all carbs from my diet. I am a bit slow on the learning curve, what can I say! I ate salad and cooked shrimp for dinner, drank my water, didn't have cranberry juice/diet orange soda chaser and was down 2 lbs this morning!
So, my menu today is: B. 1/2 of a yoplait lite yogurt. Snack. 1/4 cup fresh raspberries with 1/4 cup greek yogurt. Lunch. 1/4 cup salad with 2 oz. of cold steak from sunday. Dinner. 5 or 6 cold shrimp with salad. Maybe after dinner the rest of the fresh berried with rest of greek yogurt. I love this fage 0% yogurt. Only 80 calories but 13 grams of protein!
Exercise today. 1 hour of water aerobics followed by 20 laps of backstroke. Water: Working on my 3rd water bottle. I work in a restricted area and have to hide my water bottle under my desk and drink surreptitiously!

Stopped in earlier but things went crazy at work. We have procedures but seems everyone wants to make their own rules. It causes inconsistencies and the customers get confused. Makes me want to smack the people who try to take shortcuts around the system.
