Hi Linda,
Good for you! Have a very peaceful day!
Called the surgeon's office and they fit me in yesterday. He thinks ulcer or gallbladder, but of course I felt much better by the time I saw him. He wanted an ultra sound done yesterday but has to coordinate with Group Health and since they didn't refer me to him, I figure it will be a while...today the pain is gone... so I don't know what the heck is going on.
I will still get the ultra sound when and if it comes through and I have an appointment with my pcp on the 17th. She will be sure I get any tests I need...she is on vacation and that usually means it is harder to get what I need...so....
B-protein shake
S-yogurt (may try a little ka****oday)
L-cottage cheese, maybe strawberries if I feel good still
D- not sure
Take care,
Cheryl

Good Morning all! I'm finally getting into the groove with my DS. B-Protein Shake S-s/f Jello L-yogurt and that's all I know for now because that's all I packed in my lunch bag. And of course, my trusty water bottle. I get out of work at 5:00P so I'll have a snack at home and then dinner later. Before I began the quest for the DS, I had never had any tests. Now, I'm eager to know everything. I had an ultrasound on my legs last week because the doctors' were worried that there may be a clot. It turned out that it was probably just fluid redistribution following surgery. What a relief! I'm having a good day so far and hope you are having a great one.
Hiya Cheryl, you remind me of myself when I was little. I would have a tooth ache, until I got to the dentist. I hope they get to run all the test for you, better safe than sorry.
My surgeon has this habit of taking out most gall bladders when he does WLS, not for my daughter, as she is 32, but for most of his older patients as he says they are shot usually.
I am happy to hear you are out of pain for now, that is good news!
I must take my butt back to work tomorrow, but after being up half the night,I could not.
Take care,baby girl!!
Hey there, Linda!
Yep, if it is gallbladder, it has calmed down for now and I can get the tests when I see my pcp as I haven't heard anything from the ultra sound place...I'm not surprised.
It is so good that you could take the day off...
Had the memorial for my friend at the apartment building today, it was very nice and really was good for me and for the residents. Huge turnout and my husband played his guitar and my dad (who is a pastor) did the service with another man who was a good friend and former co-worker of both my friend and I . Got to see lots of my residents.
I overheard two of the ladies exclaiming how "skinny" I was and then commenting how "she might look skinny but now she looks OLD!" too funny, these two ladies are just two unhappy kinda mean little ladies.
Anyway...I will pop in tomorrow morning...have a better sleep!
Cheryl
