What's New Monday
It's almost Monday if I lived on the East coast it would be Monday, so I am just a few minutes early.
What a weeked. Had a garage sale and a couple nieces came down to help me one stayed for several days with her 2 little ones and the other one came for 2 days with her husband and 3 kids. I felt so bad we don't have a spare bed so one of them slept on the couch and the rest the floor. They didn't mind it, I think they were having a slumber party. Oh well the garage sale went good we all made some mad money.
Then my husband broke his foot las night he has osteoporis and the bone just broke. We got home fromt the ER and we were having a downpour and the next thing I knew my little great niece came in the bedroom and said Aunt Barb I am getting rained on. It was raining so hard that it was coming through the ceiling in the living room. Oh well we put a bucket under it and went back to bed.
Then this morning my son called me and said the fire dept. was evacuating him because of floods, he lives out in the country we tried to go meet them to bring them to our house but the highway was flooded. We did end up with their big dog, they went to his in laws. The dog is really dumb we gave him a McDonalds hamburger and he buried it. Maybe he is smarter then we realize and knows the nutritional value of it. Then my nephew called me they had a tornado in his neighborhood but his house was spared.
I am hoping Monday goes a little better, but I got a lot of blessing for today my family is all safe.

Good morning my OFF friends, well not sure about the good...it is monday afterall and it is morning....maybe when the coffee hits I'll wake up. Waiting for the contractors to come finish up the master bedroom today. We are in the midst of another day of rain...oh where is the sunshine?? more coffee! (guess that's beer..oh well) Paulette
Hey Ladies and man or men! and Barb!
I am over here in Eastern WA in freezing cold NOT spring weather, crossed eyed with a sore stomach! What more could a girl ask for?
I will call the doc in regards to my stomach. Not eating much more than yogurt and cottage cheese for now...
Have a letter going to my pcp from my eye doc so will hopefully be seeing an eye specialist. Geeze, I hate going to the dr! My double vision is getting worse and worse..no longer correctable with my glasses...the dr says lazy eyes usually get better with age not worse and in the past 6 months he has seen me 3x and each time it's worse. So the good part of that is when I eat...it looks like I get to eat double of everything, right? And at least I'm cross eyed and skinny.
No troubles driving or seeing farther away double vision wise, just hard to do my computer work or things like shopping (looking at stuff on the clothes rack) So, saving a little money too!
Anyway...picked Beth up at camp and took her to college and she is about at the end of her rope...no time to study for finals, cried much of the way and I just hope that once the school pressure is off the rest will be better.
My goodness, Barb, I will be keeping you and all in your area in my prayer.
Kathi is home, Yay! Will be thinking of her!
Margo, hope you feel less stiff and sore.
Have a good day all,
Cheryl

Morning Barb and everyone,
Barb, what a weekend, indeed!! Sure hope things settle down for you and the rest of the week is better for you. I'm sure the little ones thought all of it was quite the adventure though....LOL
I'm getting dressed early today and then calling the doctor about my toe. I caught it in a bath mat yesterday and separated the nail from the bed. It bled for about 7 hours before letting up....must have changed the bandage 5 times before bed. I don't think it's going to reattach, so he'll probably want to remove it. Sure.....just in time for my "big debut" in San Diego for my nieces wedding. Can't win.
Another slow week at work, which could be a blessing considering my toe hurts so badly. We are taken care of, aren't we??
Hope everyone has a dandy day. Love to all
Susan
Oh Susan!
Ouch!!!!
That must hurt like you know what. You poor girl.
Put a pretty bandaid on the wounded one and paint the other ones so beautiful that the sore one will not be noticed! Besides, everyone will be looking at your gorgeous new body not your toe! And your beautiful face!
