Good Tuesday #1 to everyone....boy this works out good not having Monday to deal with. haha My week end went good. Nothing exciting happened but it was just nice. Can't ask for anything better than that except............. Today is shopping day. Yes....I didn't do it yesterday as planned. Today is the day though. Bill is ready to get going so I have to cut this short.  I just talked to Carla for an hour. That was a lot of fun. It amazes me that we can talk to each other like that and not even meet  the other person. When Paulette and Carla leave for Frankenmuth in October they are going to stop here in Portage and we can meet. I can't wait for that to happen. She is saying when she comes up in August we are going to get together too. Hope that happens.  Today is the same for meals. Same stuff just a different day! B: sf oatmeal w/o milk L: hot dog w/o the bun and chili sauce  D: what Bill cooks and veggies  S: pudding or cottage cheese Give or take it is going to be close to what this is, but I may add either cottage cheese or yogurt to it somewhere. Who knows? I had better go. I am sending lots of love and big hugs to you! You remain in my special prayers, my dear Linda.

Brenda,it is amazing how close we get here for sure. I hope you enjoy your shopping, maybe you will find some new low calorie food, ya never know. I have to get back on the phone in a minute...but have a blessed day!

* * ** How does that song go ?? "MONDAY, MONDAY CAN'T ????" Oh I'm so glad it is Tuesday ! ! LOL Yesterday I had company... my niece, her dau, my dau in law, and two grands. All but the 13 yr old have been on a diet. Boy, was that an eye opener. My niece has lost about 70 lbs and my dau in law lost 40 lbs and my grand lost 26. Mom is down 5 lbs (she wasn't fat) and I'm down 60 lbs...... I do have a couple of questions on the "bars". What is the criteria for selecting them. The girls swear by the Luna bars. What is the ratio of sugar and protein? I've been eating the Bora Bora bars from Costco. The gals said they didn't have the same protein count as the Luna bar and more sugar and calories. I always go for the higher protein with the lowest sugar. I never had bora bora bars...so I do not know about them. I do not eat protein bars per say, I like South Beach granola bars. The protein bars tend to be too heavy for me and give me gas. I hope this helps..smile.

Well, finally made it online.  Extra busy at work being shorthanded 'cause of coworker, Pat, out with her dying dad.  Not complaining.  We can call today whatever we like, but for Tuesday #1, it sure has been a Monday for me!  It is dragging arse so slowly.  Feels like I've been here for a week and it's only Tues. #1!  This evening is support group - may try to swing by the hospital near support meeting to visit with Pat to lend a little moral support.  Talked to her over the weekend and she called me twice at work today.  She needs some TLC and a HUG.  Sat. I went to the farmer's market and bought some peaches, blueberries, cucumbers, and a loaf of Italian bread.  What was I thinking buying that bread.  Haven't cut it yet!  Had a Zephyr's game Sat. night.  We won!  Yesterday George, GIII, and two friends went crawfishing.  Yummy boiled crawfish again!  I went shopping, bought two pair of capris and two matching blouses.  All I need is extra undies and I'm all set for vacation!  Also went to see "Sex and the City".  I never watched the program as long as it was on TV, but enjoyed the movie!  Don't know why I rambling on and on here.  I didn't think to post this on the What's New!  I'm a bit ditzy today! B - protein shake S - protein shake L - fresh tomato, cucumber, cheese, and crawfish with lite Italian dressing S - yogurt D - broiled catfish, salad, broccoli S - protein shake or cracker with either peanut butter or cheese Debbie

We like hearing what's new here too!! MMMM you have such yummy food. What a good person you are to think of Pat!! You rock Angel!! I gotta run, am still in the enemy campground! Hugs!

I actually had a sandwich today-half a hot dog bun with about an ounce of tuna on it. Wonderful!
