What we are eating, and what's eating us!!!! Monday..
Morning -
Tom left home reminding me to DRINK water. It's supposed to hit 95 degrees here. About time we got some heat.
This new computer does everything but run the washing machine ... but ... I can't get the smileys to work. The postings look naked and dull. Tom Honey can help later.
He ate my lunch for a snack. Back to the drawing boards. There is always the old stand by - cottage cheese.

Hell Beautiful Linda!!!
Well it sure is the begining of a new week...UGH Mondays!!
I had such a crazy, busy, fun weekend. Why do days off go so fast and work days have to go so slow!
I hope you had a great weekend too!!!!
B-yogurt w/kashi and string cheese
S-banana
L-tuna, cottage cheese and cherry tomates
S-blueberries
D-BBQ chicken and mixed veggies
S- SF pudding (Caramel)
and .........Boo...... to you!!!
Hiya Connie, my life is better now that I don't do Mondays anymore.
Sounds like you had a great weekend...I am mostly a lump on a log, BUT, I did go swimming and that was great.
Now I am thinking how a water bed may be my answer to laying down again, no pressure points that way. So, I may have found an answer to laying down again.
I hope this day goes fast for you!
Linda,
Today is laundry day. Oh, goodie.
B: 1 packet weight control oatmeal made w/ 2/3 c. skim milk & 1/2 banana
S: 1/2 c. cheesecake cottage cheese pudding
L: 2 oz tofu in peanut sauce, 1/4 c. brocamole
S: 1/2 c. LF cottage cheese w/ pineapple
D: 2 oz steak, 1/4 c. mushroom salad
S: 1/2 c. FF/SF orange cheesecake
I'm thinking seriously about adding some calories (protein) to my daily routine. My weight loss keeps stalling and other OH members tell me I don't eat enough to keep my body from going into "starvation mode". I'm not sure what to believe. What do you think?

Hi Jean. I love to read your menus and wish you had a cookbook available. Would you mind sharing some recipes? Like, how do you make orange cheesecake, brocamole, mushroom salad, cheesecake cottage cheese pudding??? -- I bet lots of other folks would like to buy your cookbook too. Also, Yes, I've read many times about fooling our bodies by chaning amounts of daily protein, carbs, etc. Please let us know how these changes work for you.

Marilyn,
Hey, I live near Memphis! Well, I'm 2-1/2 to 3 hrs northwest. Where I came from in New England, that was considered pretty far, but in Tennessee that's pretty close.
My recipes are on my blog: http://jeanslapbandjourney.blogspot.com/. Some day I may publish a cookbook. Right now I'm concentrating on publishing my 2nd novel.

A novel --- how wonderful! Thanks, I'll check out your blogspot.
I also had a book published. It's on Art Therapy with folks who have severe mental and/or physical impairments. My publisher wants me to revise it and do a new edition and I'm fighting it. Hearing that you're writing might encourage me to get back to it. I'm primarily an artist and 5 painting classes per week.
Maybe we could get together if you come to the Memphis area. My surgeon is Dr. Weaver at Saint Francis and we have monthly support group meetings at the hospital. Please join us if you're in town.
