Bet you thought I got lost?? Mary called in a tizzy. She needed to get out, Dave needed to sleep, they needed help. I needed a few hugs and kisses too. We were headed out for shopping but went up to play with the Grand's. Tom took me out for lunch then computer shopping. Right this minute he is tapping his foot waiting to set up the new one. Better get moving before he has a nervous breakdown. I sure hope he doesn't loose all my good stuff in the transition. A huge line of storms is making it's way across lake Michigan in our direction. Evidently from the Grand Rapids TV station they were hit really bad up that way. Roads washed out and the like.....hope Eileen is okay.

I bbq'd chicken for lunch and leftovers -- it turned out really good and I even sat outside in the heat and humidity and was comfortable -- last year I would have been sweating up a storm!

Our H.S. graduation is this afternoon - they planned it for outside, but don't know if that happened, since it is extremely windy and hot. All I can see from my house is the parking lot full of cars.

Guess I'll check out the golf on TV or read .....I've had my nap (didn't sleep but laid down for 20 minutes) now time to hit the crystal lite and water. Went to K-Mart for some paper towels that were on sale and came away with $62 worth of new clothes - bras, panties, and two new tops that were 20% off. I'm really starting to enjoy this shopping for clothes!!!

Hi All, Yesterday was a day full of tornadoes and storms, one after another. Tornadoes were touching down all around this area. My kitties stayed in the basement most of the day and nite to hide from the lightening, thunder, wind and rain. We've had 6-8 inches rain since Friday. Lots of evacuations going on in counties nearby. After such an extreme winter, I had thought the rest of the year would be a piece of cake but I guess not.  Just had an argument with a credit card company...I had paid a card in full this spring and they added some fees a week after but did not contact me till this weekend via email. Apparently they waived the fees but "cannot change anything sent to the credit bureau". This burns me. I worked hard for years to fix my credit rating after my divorce and don't need this. I think I may call the company back and speak to a supervisor. Do you think this'll help?  Made a big pot of shrimp soup today so been eating on that and just had a blueberry protein shake. Had a big craving for sweet/choc earlier and found a protein bar! Cured my craving. Have a great week everyone! Alice
