Good morning, Linda, yay, play day! I'm going to my support group this morning. A plastic surgeon will be there doing a lecture and I'm looking forward to hearing what he has to say. I'm not ready for PS yet, but a TT is definately in my future. Afterwards it's lunch with a friend and we get to play the rest of the day!
B:Protein shake.
L&D:Could be anything today as we will probably eat out for lunch and something light for dinner. Probably left-overs from lunch.
Hope your play day is great!
Bonnie
Thanks for thinking of me
I arrived at the restaurant first. Jeani was driving in from her daughter's. Since it was hot I wanted to wait inside so I called her cell phone. Jeani said she was just pulling into the parking lot and asked what I was wearing. She said the only person she could see was a skinny woman in pink - yuppers, it was me.
Her screech broke the sound barrier. Didn't need a phone to hear her.
She quickly parked, we kissed, hugged, cried and hung on to each other for dear life. People must have thought we were insane.
We have been through every good, bad and in between over the years. Our families merged, our lives entwined, more than friends, better than sisters, go**** felt good to see her.
She was stunned to see the weight loss. I have always been the BIG ONE, not any more. Even at 13 years old I weighed in around 135 - 150 and just kept growing. Seeing me at 113 pounds was a shocker, in a good way though.
We talked and some how managed to eat lunch too. The waitress kept checking to see if something was wrong with our food. We told her we were gabbing too much to eat, nothing wrong with our meal.
I hope Cheryl calls her surgeon. We all seem to let pain go on thinking it will go away by some magic.
Menu today - the usual
Enjoy the pool. I have a question Linda. Is swimming different after your huge weight loss? I used to float in the water like a bobbing cork but have not tried swimming yet. Will I now sink to the bottom?
Annette
LOL!! You had a fantastic time!! How wonderful!! If you relax in the water, you will not sink. I actually float in LESS water than I used to!! This is the good part of summer as this is my main mode of exercise...I am a mermaid, I feel no pain, no weight, and I do jumping jacks and such..LOL.
I hope you get to play today, I do hope our Cheryl goes to the emergency room too!
Good Morning Linda.....I am so jealous....swimming....lucky you!!!
I think summer is going to totally miss MN this year! More clouds, more rain, more darkness!!! No wonder I am depressed!!
I am heading to Minneapolis to a coffee group. I know I shouldn't use the gas as it is a 45 minute drive. I need to see my OH people. It has just been too long.
Have fun swimming. Soak up a few sun rays for me sweetie!!
Love you much!! Hugs....Boo......... to you.
Awww summer will come to you!! Hey,you get to hang with OH people, that's a good dose of sunshine right there!! In Saudi Arabia, gas is 39 cents a gallon, amazing!!
I will think of you as I float and look at the palm trees and sky. I live modestly, but at least there is a pool, and they don't tax sunshine.....YET!
I loves ya Boo!!
Linda,
I'm going to see my mom in rehab today. When I talked to her yesterday, she sounded really confused. I got a call from the speech pathologist there who said she's observed that sometimes Mom is "with it" and other times is totally out of it. She wanted to know if this is something recent. I told her it's been going on for about 6 months. I was kind of glad that someone besides me has noticed this in Mom.

Happy Play Day to you, Linda. I wish I could join you in the pool but I am stuck here in Indiana with wind, rain and no sun! I thought that the sun was going to finally come out but it ran away and I doubt it will come out to play today. lol Enjoy your and think of me!!!
