Don't wait too long to get this checked out ok? Have you tried something to coat your stomach  before taking the pain pills? Just a thought. Sure sounds like it could be an ulcer which is very treatable, but it could be more serious. Regardless, you need to know what is going on. Hugs,

My friend Jeani and I got together for lunch. We've been friends since we were 13 years old. She lives in Florida now and hasn't been back since her Mom passed away 3 years ago.  I thought she was going to need stitches as her chin hit the floor when she saw me for the first time since WLS.  Tom and I sat on the deck for our coffee. The humming birds kept dive bombing us.   They are noisey critters and very territorial.  The cats were inside the house raising a ruckus and climbing the screen on the sliding door. We have attempted to take one or two outside with us with little success. Joey will sit on Tom's lap and Tony on mine - only for about two minutes before they get antsy to explore.  Annie is totally impossible and wiggles from the moment she is in our arms. No surprise there. The other five want to come out but don't cooperate either. They have to stay inside, looking out and complain. Remember to drink extra fluids if your weather is warmer.   Dehydration doesn't feel very good. Annette

Morning everyone! No weekend for me yet, today's my Friday though!! The economy is starting to hit the salon, I'll be done by 1:00 today and didn't have a soul yesterday. The discount salons will get busier, but places like ours where a color and cut is $140 is going to suffer. Gotta just hang on for the ride I guess. It's not the first time in my 32 years this has happened, but I can already see the writing on the wall. I'm finally getting my energy and strength back but still haven't gotten the hang of the "new and improved" rny.  Got up to 122 the beginning of the week, upped my protein and now I'm back to 119.  At least I'm not freaking out about it, just learning the whole new process. Well, gotta go get ready for another day.  Hugs to all and special thoughts for those that need 'em.  Love to all!

Susan, Is 119 about where you should be? It must feel like you are learning a whole new set of rules since the last surgery. I'm relieved to hear you are not getting all nervous over this. Annette

Good Morning Annette and Everyone..... I am off to Minneapolis to meet up with some OH gals for coffee this morning. I need the hugs and support they give. It is a 45 minute drive and I shouldn't waste the gas but I really need to see them so off I go. I am going to a few garage sales with my friend Pam...our usual Saturday thing. Tonight I am going out to dance. My favorite country band is playing and I can't wait to se and hear them play. I hope everyone is doing well. I haven't read the posts yet. Prayers to those in need .
