Hi everyone, my cholesterol has dropped
Ahhh Brenda thanks so much for saying you miss me here on the boards. I didn't think anyone noticed that I wasn't posting.
Well, to catch you and anyone else that wants to know. I've been walking with Lora several times a week. Last week DH was off work and you know how they "cramp" your style when they're off. Didn't get too much done. School is out next Wednesday and right after school that day we jump in the car to head to Cincinatti for a baseball tournament my son is in on June 12-13-14-15. We travel a lot for baseball in the summer. We are going as far as St. Petersburg FL this year. Tomorrow evening is his high school baseball banquet.
We are cheering loud for our Pittsburgh Penguins. I hope they win tonight to stay in the game. They are such a talented group of young men and they really deserve to win the Stanley Cup. DH and DS went to the game last week here in Pittsburgh when they won. They had a great time. The last time the Penguins won the Stanley Cup was the year DS was born 1992.

I am SO HAPPY for you and your excellent numbers on cholesterol and BP. This surgery is so life changing isn't it. I, too, was so delighted when my cholesterol went from 226 to 155, and BP from 145/95 to 110/60....those were fringe benefits for me.
Keep up the great work, and PLEASE come back often and share your journey with us.
Aloha nui loa,
Maui Karen
