What we are eating,and what's eating us!!!! Monday..

Hey Boo!! Hugs!! Today was not too bad, I have an extended lunch and an additional break, it comes out of my pay and is worth it!!! You go like a fir engine girl, so work is only part of your action! I managed to walk around inside lots, and was outside a few times today, the last temp I heard was 105 and I think I blocked it out after then. I am off this Friday and the next, I took lots of Fridays off as vacation days during the summer, so I have 3 day weekends,I am learning to protect myself. Life is good... Love you!

Hi Everyone! My gripe is my clinic called me today to tell me that the psych testing (3hrs) I had last wk was the wrong test so I'd have to take it again. They were very nice and apologetic about it but come on, is this an omen? I prefer to look at it as incompetency and the one "kink" in my process. Better now than later, right? I went in today and retested. It appeared to have the same questions, just a few more of them. I live very close to the clinic so it was no hassle...plus I was off today. As far as eating...B-protein shake, L-salmon mixed with fage yogurt eaten with cucumber slices S- protein bar, S- chix breast sliced and dipped in sf/ff honey dijon dressing. I'm still pre-op so I can digest the cukes just fine. I'll probably have another protein shake or sf/ff choc pudding later. Enjoy your evening everyone, it is raining here and the prediction is rain for the next 8 days. I guess to be green you gotta have some rain. Alice

I put the Taco Chicken in the slow cooker about 6 a.m. this morning and when I got home at 12:30 the house smelled wonderful. The chicken was done and I had half a breast for my lunch --- yummy! Thanks to whomever posted the recipe. I may get some brown rice and put it in that wonderful sauce. I used both boneless breasts and a couple bone-in thighs with skin removed.

You are so right Alice, let's consider this the kink, and the rest is smoothe sailing. Rain for 8 days??? Holy Hannah!! I hope you can keep your spirits up, I would have trouble with that much rain,for one thing, I would be achey and it would go from there. Hang tight!

Hi sweetie...you are a doll!! I am glad you are taking some Fridays off. Those long weekends mean a lot!!! Yes...it sure does seem like I am a busy gal. I have so many friends and of course my family. I am always on the go somewhere. Thats okay it keeps me young! I wish I lived near you I would be carting your bootie off somewhere all the time!!!! The temps are back in the 60s again today and for the rest of the week....UGH!!! Cloudy...rainy...yucky!! I would love your weather!! I am always so cold. Still checking out the man I met the other night. I am pretty picky. Example ....if he smokes....I don't have anything to do with him. I won't settle for less then I want. If I don't find it I would rather be alone. He doesn't smoke but I need more details....more questions to ask. Everyone around here knows me....I can find out anything I want pretty quickly. Thank you Linda. I don't mind the rain as much as snow. It's warm enough to be tolerable so you won't hear compaining about rain. After the winter we had, I ready to move to warmer climate...once I get my house sold. Alice
