What we are eating, and what's eating us!!!! Monday..
Linda,
I talked with my mom's doctor at the hospital yesterday. A physical therapist is going to evaluate Mom today to see if she's able to go back to her assisted living facility or will have to go to a nursing home. Meanwhile, $2750 gone to the assisted living facility for the June bill...

L: 3 oz. salmon & veggie patty, 1/4 c. Thai broccoli
S: 1/2 c. LF cottage cheese w/ berries & mango

Annette,
It's nice to know someone understands what this is like.
My mom doesn't have Alzheimers - that must make it so much harder - but she is definitely "losing it" mentally and her body just seems to be giving out (she's 89). I talked to the physical therapist today and she recommended an acute care rehab facility rather than a nursing home. Mom will have 3 1-hr physical & occupational therapy sessions a day there and is NOT happy about it. She just wants to lie in bed and be fussed over. But I'm afraid if I let her do that, she'll get even weaker. Now I'm waiting to hear if the rehab facility has a bed for her.
Thanks,
Jean

Good morning Linda, Jean and my OFF friends. got my bike saturday now just need new tires then I can ride like the wind.(hopefully, it's been alot of years) yesterday I played Bob the builder, I helped DH clean up all the remodeling mess. I pulled nails out of paneling, old boards etc from 10am til 5pm. Do I feel it in my arms this morning, and my legs from all the up & down. Surprisingly though my back feels pretty good. tody the drywallers are supposed to be here to finish our bedroom. Today; B- Low Carb yogurt & Strawberry Rhubarb sauce, S- Orange L- Sandwich( low carb bread& turkey) D- Turkey spaghetti & Broccoli. Have a great day! Paulette
Hugs Linda,
It's the start of a new and better day. I made enough sauce and meatballs to feed an ARMY. I have dropped to 113 pounds and need to get some meat on my bones.
When I weighed 320 a couple of pounds up or down didn't show. Now the changes are evident. The only bumps on my chest are ribs. Gracious, no boobs left at all. Sure makes the back and shoulders feels better.
Enjoy this beautiful day.
Annette
You are my tiny sister! The health issues have made it hard for you too. Meatballs are like chicken soup to us!! Enjoy, my bobs are shrinking, hell my arms are hanging to the damn elbows.
You know what, I wish I coud say it does not bother me, I ordered some tops that I must send back because of this, but it beats the hell out of being fatter.
Ear up!! Dear sister from another mother!
Hugs and kisses!!
