I'm home, and stented

18 months ago I was diagnosed as having two coronary arteries that were 50% blocked. The angiogram yesterday showed that one of those is still at 50, but the other one has grown to 65%, so they stented that one.  I now have to take Plavix and (gasp!!) a full strengh coated aspirin a day. Quick call to my surgeon to verify this, and of course, he agreed, as long as I stay on the Prevacid.  So, one more day off work (Saturday) then back to normal on Tuesday. I can start back to the gym and my personal training in a week.  And THEN we'll see the pounds melt away.........LOL.

Kerry, I'm so glad your procedure went well. It is amazing what can be done medically now. lol on the aspirin .. contraband for most of us ! ! Rest up and get ready for your work outs. Millie

I am so glad that things went well for you. I have had you in my prayers and will continue to keep you there.  Take care of yourself and rest. Then when you are ready the scale better look out because it is going to be dropping!!! Love and hugs to you.

Thank you all for your good wishes. I've not been ignoring you. As soon as I'd posted yesterday I went and sat in my recliner and slep****ches some TV, slept, read, slept etc. You get the picture. This is the first time I've been online since. Yes, I rested..........LOL. Now I feel good, and it's time to catch up on all the posts.  Nice to see you all again!!
