What's new ? TGIF
Happy Birthday, Donna and happy fifth day smoke-free. I have never tried to quit smoking because I never started smoking. But I remembered my father smoking and the times he tried to quit ... it was very hard and he always went back. And I've seen others who tried it too (including one of our copy editors who had to go cold turkey because he had a bone in his leg that was broken and would not heal because of reduced blood flow ... he couldn't use any of the nicotine gum or pills, etc. He was a real pain for a while until his body adjusted to being nicotine-free.) It's a noble pursuit to kick that habit, and I applaud your efforts. Keep it up!
Happy happy birthday to you today!
I would sing but then you wouldn't have had a good day. I love to sing but not to many people like to hear it!!!!
Congratulations on your 5th day of being smoke free. I never had to do that since I never started. Bill on the other hand has that addiction and he has tried so many times to stop and one time did for 3 months and then he decided that he needed the patches since he was done with Chantix and I told him no but I didn't know anything (I am a stupid 54 year old~how ever did I survive to this age?) and sure enough putting the nicotine back into his system was the end of that time of stopping. Since then he hasn't tried. You are doing great!!! Keep up the good work and remember that we are here for you if it gets hairy for you.
Birthday love and hugs to you today and always!!
