I'm having an angiogram tomorrow

And oddly enough I'm looking forward to it!!! I had one about 18 months ago and it was found that I have two arteries that were 50% blocked. I've been wearing the nitro patches ever since in the hope that this would improve things. I had a stress test a couple of weeks ago that indicated that, if anything, the blockages are worse. Great, I had just started a rigorous personal training routine, and I'm told that the most I'm to do is light cardio !!!! So, I put my trainer on hold and basically turned into a slug for the last few days. Yes, I have been in Egypt (in denial..........LOL......gettit???) because I HAVE noticed minor chest pains etc.  So, tomorrow, I want to be stented. I want this issue resolved so that I can GET ON WITH MY LIFE and not worry about dropping dead doing so. So, wish me luck tomorrow. I'll be back. Hmmm, I wonder if the hospital has wireless access.....it's more than likely going to be an overnight stay.

They mean "Queen of De Nile" - like Cleopatra in Egypt, but the real meaning is "Queen of Denial"... Julia

Kerry, I will be keeping you and your healthcare people in my prayers. Please keep us posted on how things are going and make sure that you take care of #1~YOU! Remember you mean a lot to all of us and a lot of prayers are going up for you. We are a major group of prayer warriors on here. Sending you love and lots of hugs your way.

Hi Kerry, I'm sure everything will go well. I am constantly amazed with the progress in medicine in the last ten years. 30 years ago my Dad died of a heart attack at 51 after having several lesser attacks but there were no real treatments then. Now they keep people going for many years- a stent here, a pacemaker there... I'll be thinking about you tomorrow. Try to be calm. Julia
