Hello my fellow over 50's. I need some help.  I have been blessed with really good skin but I noticed that the area around my mouth is not looking too good.  I know that I can't be 20 anymore but would like to get some suggestions short of PS.  What kinds of creams have you guys tried?  I tried something by Dr. Wexler and it seems to have a great consistancy but I ran out of it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Jeanne

I have found wrinkles to be one of the MOST frustrating things about WLS. My fat face filled out all my wrinkles....but my post WLS sure shows them all....but I don't give up I fight it fight it. I also have been blessed with good skin from my Mom. One of the best things I have found is L'Oreal Skin Genesis.......I tried some very veryexpensive stuff from Channel...but wow at $165 a bottle...way too expensive....I think this is quite similar and it is only about $18 a bottle. First I wash my face to cleanse it and rinse it in HO****er....you can just use plain soap like ivory....and then you need to seal it right away when it is clean to keep your pores small....I use Lancome pink toner...it is very very mild and only about $16 a bottle. then I put on the Skin Genesis and then my foundation to even out my skin tones. I think this has helped....at least lots of people tell me that I don't look my age....67. But I still have a way to go......that is one reason why I am trying to just maintain my weight right now....I just don't want anymore facial sagging at this point.....then I would like to take off about 5 pounds at a time. Take care, Marti

Thank you Marti for the suggestion.  I use the L'oreal line but have never tried the Skin Genesis.  I think I will give it a try.  LIke you fat on my face was the only place that it looked good.   Thanks. again. Jeanne

I'm a Mary Kay consultant, and swear by their products. You must be consistent. Oh, and make sure you're drinking all your water and getting enough sleep. That alone will help!
Joyful hugs,
Connie
