Sweet Poison, Part two

The bod has been without any of thoes articial sweetners for over a week. I do think I can feel a differance.  The reason I say that is because even though we had a cold snap this last week, I didn't walk around in that intense   pain I felt the weeks before I stopped using the sweetners.  Also , my brain is a bit clearer, not as many bad moods.  Now,   all the changes could be because the Fibro has slowed way down , or because, the weather is changing, or as I'm hoping, The chemicals are leaving the body.  I'll let you know how it goes . Dear Peg, I'm so glad this experiment seems to be working!  My DIL cannot tolerate any artificial sweeteners, gets terrible headaches from them, so I know they can effect people badly. Your weather there sure has been crazy.  My SIL was driving home in Riverside County and saw the tornado last week. She called me shrieking that we're not the only ones that get them!  I've lived in AR for three years now and haven't seen one (hope I never do) and there she is in sunny CA and watches one from the freeway.  Crazy...... So happy my friend in red is feeling better Hugs to ya!

Thanks for such a nice atta girl Susan.  We heard about the tornado down by Parris, We had some really wierd weather for a while up here .  The sky is B a a a a  l u e here today, cool and breezie, very pretty.  I'm staying in with the stove.  Not going to give the bad ache's a cold body to get started in.

Peg, I'm so glad you're feeling better. I'm sure those nasties will take a bit of time to get out of your system, so every day will be better for you.

Peg, I'm so glad you're feeling better.  Please continue to update us.  George is also allergic to most sugar substitutes.  He can tolerate Splenda in small doses.  The others give him awful headaches and stomach aches. Debbie

Debbie, You are the second person that mentioned an allergy to sweetners. I never even considered that to be a problem, but wow, It make all the bad bit's and pieces come together. I truely am feeling so much better.  Yesterday I even walked around a wedding for about 4 hours and other then having to much vino, had no problems.

Glad to know you are feeling better and I hope that you have solved a mystery for yourself!  I used to work with a doctor who was really big into his research.  I had mentioned my theory that I believe some of the biggest problems facing people today are all the chemicals in the food.  He agreed and was hoping to see more research in the idea.  You're a researcher!  LOL  Keep feeling better there my lady in red! Ta Da, Peg the researcher in her Red Lab coat, I like it.  You gave me a nice big smile.  You know, I grew up out in the country and the crop duster planes would fly over all the fields and drop the chemicales all over the place, us included.  My allergic reaction started way back then.  I remembe rbeing taken to see the Doc. because I had sores on my body.  We used to swim in the canels tha****ered the fields. We may have just hit on the answer, Thanks Kathi. Natural is for me. I know vino has a chemicale or three, Huuummmmm, qundry, how about beer.
