Hi Annette  not much going on here today, going to make some tomato cages to go around my tomatos , hate those little dinky things they sell at stores they are never big enough.  then if we feel like it will be tearing our carpet out of the rental house we just bought. We are going to be putting down laminate flooring in there , last better and looks more in style with todays stuff.  It is raining here , off and on but temps nice and warm right now it is 70 suppose to get up to 88 today... My shoulder is hanging in there . I dont want to have surgery on it till after August if i can keep from it.... That is about all i know. lol nothing much going on here , no exciting things happening or cute little kids here right now.  So what are you going to be doing today?

Jan, We planted one tomato plant and I thought of your enormous plantings. Do you can or freeze the veggies too? The gardening must be rough on your poor shoulder. My brother has had both shoulders replaced. Each would have been same day surgery but my SIL told the doctor she would feel more comfortable having him spend one night in the hospital. Yours is a repair, not replacement ??? Amazing what the doctors can do with our bodies. Annette

WE FREEZE A LOT OF VEGGIES AND THEY ARE SO GOOD IN THE MIDDLE OF WINTER.  I EVEN FREEZE THE CHERRY TOMATOES. I HAVE A FLASH FREEZE SECTION ON MY FREEZER THAT I LAY A TRAY OUT IN THERE AND THEY ARE FROZEN EACH SEPERATE...THEN WHEN I BAG THEM UP TO USE DURING THE WINTER IN SOUPS AND CHILLIES ETC...I JUST TAKE OUT HOW EVER MANY I NEED.  tHAT IS WHAT THE DR. SAID THAT IT NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED....IT REALLY IS AMAZING WHAT DOCTORS CAN DO NOW DAYS,,,BUT WISH THEY COULD DO STUFF LIKE THIS WITHOUT CUTTING YOU OPEN AND HAVING TO DO REHAB . WONDER IF IT WILL HAPPEN IN THE FUTURE LIKE THAT?

Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!! How is everyone?  Are Wii having a good weekend so far?  I thought I'd have a little downtime and I'm thinking it's today, hopefully.   Yesterday was thrift store shopping with my son.  Wii went to about six.... I'm an Alfred Dunner fan... and found four pair of great summer slacks and didn't spend over $12 for all of them.  Our thrift stores down here are a little higher than some places, I think.  Found some nice tops.  All in all, I think I probably chunked down about $20 but came home with good labels and near new.  My closet runneth over. The scale is top-heavy this morning and Wii sure don't like it.  I drank a ton of tea yesterday and tried not to fill the pie-hole.... hopefully, this is water-weight.  Wii'll wait and see. Try as I might, I couldn't find a cheap ticket to anywhere for this weekend.  Boy, did Wii look.  Not only were they high, seats were pretty well non-existant.  One missed flight this weekend and Wii would have spent the holiday in an airport. Decided to stay home.  If Wii had found one, somebody would have had company, for sure!!! Sister wanted me to go to the casino with her.  Thought about that one ALOT.  But since Wii always try to make GOOD sensible decisions and George W DID send me that extra little piece of the pie......  Wii made other choices. Today is starting at $4 and then Wii'll come back home, clean house, hang up the new clothes and ...................................................Wii'll see what else Wii can find to do!! Janet

Janet, Wii ??? That's an electronic gizmo, correct? You have not been around much lately. I was beginning to think you really ran off with some Horizontal Oil Driller. Annette

Oh my, Annette. it IS an electronic gizmo... it's part of the computer network that works with your tv.  Everything is interaction.  I got the WiiFit and it's aerobics.  Then there's bowling, golf, tennis, etc.  I was on it for 3 hours yesterday and so sore today I can already stand it.... haven't done the aerobics yet as I just found it at Target in Watauga this morning.   Kids will be over for dinner.. and they can play Guitar Hero.  Basic unit is $250.  I'm obsessive compulsive... and I don't want to talk about it... damn shopping addiction... bad, bad, bad... but at least it's covered... George W and I had a talk about that.... he sent the $$. Janet

Judy, I am so glad that you have had Rick there with you. I know that you are at your happiest when he is with you.  Good luck on the interview with Gordon Foods. I will keep you and your interview in my prayers. Keep us posted on how it goes. Have a safe and happy road trip to and from Ohio.
