Hiya Kerry, Brenda summed it up. I do not want to think about food all day, so, if it is planned, it runs a higher chance of success for me, especially during the work week. There is a lady who posts from time to time, the food she ate the day before...so it is what ever floats yer boat...GRIN!

WOW!! What a menu, Jean! I have never done cavier. My dad was a fisherman, and he did fish eggs..roe, they called it, I didn't do that either. I bet it is loaded with a lot of vitamins, and omega 3's. Hope Sunday rocks for ya! Hugs!

Linda, I love fish caviar, but there isn't actually any in the quinoa eggplant caviar.  It's "faux" caviar.  It looks like caviar because the quinoa (a high-protein grain) has tiny round "grains" (can't think of how else to describe them).  You roast the eggplant and puree it with soy sauce, lemon juice, and garlic.  You saute some chopped onions and add the quinoa and chicken broth and cook it for 15 min.  Then you combine the eggplant with the quinoa mixture.  It'd be a great recipe for the mushy phase of a post-WLS diet. Jean

Good morning, little sweetie. How you be today? My back is aching so bad that I could go nuts! Oh! Excuse me~I already am nuts. My mistake! B: sf oatmeal w/o milk and banana (OMG my last one!) L: protein bar D: hamburger w/ cheese and no bun and veggies S: not sure  Yesterday turned topsy turvy here.  Bill called me from our nephews and they got a cook out going. So we ended up there. It went well. I had a hot dog and corn on the cob. That ended up being the only thing I ate along with my protein bar for the whole day. One of those days I guess. I am not going to let it happen today too.  We are going to do stuff around here in preparation of our cook out and guests tomorrow. There is a lot to do and I nor Bill feel like doing it! Is anyone intrested in coming and being my little fairy today? Don't everyone step up to fast now!! lol Better get going. I hope that today is good for you, big sister. We are going to get your rain and storms tomorrow~happy Memorial Day to us for our cook outs! Love and hugs to you and prayers going up for you too. sweetie.
