Hey Linda, Aren't we glad we have a couple of days under 100 degrees?  Thank you Mother Nature. My menu is as follows:  cup-o-ambition. then 1/2 cup of coffee w/ unjury chocolate(20 grms). B- 2 oz cottage cheese. S- fuzzy Navel protein drink(23 grms) L- 1 oz string cheese & 1 oz deli turkey. S- Fuzzy Navel protein drink(23 grms). D- 1 turkey meatball and 1 oz lite peaches.  I made a shake last night that I got out of my "Weight Loss Surgery For Dummies" book.  It was 8 oz 1 % Milk, 1 scoop Unjury Chocolate, 1 tbls creamy peanut butter and 1 packet of sweetner, about 4 ice cubes, blended it in my Magic Bullet and voila!  It was DELICIOUS!!! Tasted almost like a Reese's peanut butter cup, really delicious.

Mmmm Reggie, the shake sounds nummy! Yes! I think this will be our last break before the 120 degree weather which they say may even be hotter than that! I will be doing more drinks too, I make my own and just add Beneprotein, I still have bunches left. I am out of my yogurt..SOB. I have hired my daughter to take me to the pet store, mailboxes etc, and per smart on Saturday. I feel so damn helpless sometimes using Dial a Ride, you have to wait so darn long for things, Keep on trucking, you tough broad! HUGS!

Better late than never!  Busy day!  A little rain - cooler than originally expected.  Tonight I'll have an evening like Grammylew's day, sit on my a**.  I have a m ovie I recorded last week to watch.  George MUST attend and assist grad ceremony at the community college where he works.  I was invited, but don't feel like going home, dressing up, and going out again.  We had to have his suit altered to fit.  He's gained that much weight!  Believe me, I know what he's going through, but hesitate to say anything 'cause he put up with me all those years with my overeating...  What can I do but love him anyway!    He's still handsome and  to me! B - yogurt with granola S - protein shake L - a hodgepodge - small pice of catfish, 4 baby carrots, 2 tbsp chicken salad, and 2 wheat crackers S - still stuffed from lunch and probably won't have one, what I need is to catch up on WATER! D - left to my own devices as George will not be home, I'll probably have more catfish (boy, I love it) and salad or ham and cheese wrap in a multi-grain tortilla S - protein shake (fluid and protein) Debbie

You and George make a great couple, maybe one day he will eat like you as you make delicious meals! Love is such a great thing, it comes in all shapes, sizes and colors. Enjoy your evening, I would kill to have my own "George", but I am not good wife material. I always want to do what I want, I am too sick to worry about cleaning when I am not up to it, and I never went to kindergartin, so I do not share well...LOL. Have a wonderful night my friend.

Linda, the thing is, George usually does eat healthy foods, just too much of it.  On occasion he'll get into cookies or candy that he brings into the house and pig out.  When I buy treats for him, it's mostly a box or two of those 100 calorie cookies and he'll eat two or three of them at a time - kinda defeats the purpose.
