What we are eating, and what's eating us!!!! Thursday!!
Got this computer turned on and apparently working today. I felt lost without it.
I had a big reminder that Prissy Pouch is still in control. A bowl of cereal and milk makes her rear her ugly head. I can have them separately but not in combination or all hell breaks loose. Not enough fluids, not enough food, too much running around and I was in trouble. Shame on me.
In a couple of weeks I go for a mammogram. It's going to be hard to find anything to squish in the machine. The girls are smaller than Silver Dollar Pancakes. If they were Dime Pancakes, I'd have to give them 9 cents worth of change. This is going to be interesting.
Menu
B - blackberries, Kashi and cottage cheese
L - out with a friend but I'm thinking burger, no bun and a salad.
D - chicken with Oriental veggies, no sauce but tons of garlic
S - watermellon - first of the season
Okay, I will go look for my hammer. You have a wonderful day.

Annette,
Years ago (when I was big), I went to get a mammogram. The technician took one look at me and yelled down the hall (within hearing of everyone in the waiting room), "I'm going to need a big plate for this one."
Then I had a breast reduction and WLS. I had lost 50 lbs by the time my annual mammogram was due and there wasn't much left of the girls. I was afraid the exam would be painful because there was so little tissue left, but it wasn't bad at all.

I'd like to see a man endure a gynecological exam, too!

Hmmm ... let me ponder that question. Ohhh, probably. Things are just different in many ways. Not taking 10 meds is good. Being able to walk is good. Not sweating like a pig is good. The 'good' list goes on and on.
I have ALWAYS caught every bug flying through the air. Now the antibiotics don't work but maybe I have taken too many over the past 60 years?
Before WLS I never gave a thought to eating and drinking, just did it and grew bigger. These days I have to make a conscious effort to be careful and include the necessities. That's a change but not really a bad one.
I still think it was a good move ... most days.
Love you 2
